What an outstanding experience. The food and service were amazing. I wish I could give 10 stars.

Would it be rude if I complain that staff do not speak English? I asked what the croissants are with.. and received only a smile back. I asked if it can be warmed up and heard “I don’t know”.

Cute and quiet little cafe with secure WiFi. Great for getting work done. I had a slice of lovely pistachio cake and the other pastries looked yummy too.

For me, the vibe of a cafe is the primary reason I go- whether it's for meeting a friend or doing some work, I want to enjoy the feel of the space while I am there. Blumen cafe offers an adorable interior, laid-back vibe, and a variety of seating, good for both socializing and doing some work. I got a latte, and it was pretty standard, but the service was great and they bring it to you at the table. It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning/afternoon, and it appeared that the owner and her daughters had some friends come over too, it appears that small dogs are also allowed. I would love to come back and try some of the teas- I realized too late that that is what they are more well-known for, and the pairings of tea with food.

Love this cafe!! Their sandwiches are amazing. Flaky, crummy bread with delicious fillings and sauce. The kunafe was also amazing.

This place was full of big flies all around the place, and it had a weird smell. It was very uncomfortable to be there with so many flies flying around my food. The tea and the pastry I ordered were not good or tasty.

This cafe is my go to spot for catching up with a friend, grabbing a coffee, or doing some work. I have been coming here for 3 years. My most recent visit was disappointing. The tea is still great quality along with the desserts, however the new seating arrangement is very schizophrenic! The wall space has been taken over by a large display table with coffee cups for sale. Though this likely intended to bring in revenue, the large table has taken up about 3 very well laid out table options thus forcing customers to sit near the cold door or window. Customer are likely to stay for less time and decrease potential revenue. The table also blocks a coveted electrical outlet. This layout along with the loud 80's top 40 music decreases from the French cafe vibe that this place once held. I hope the management returns to the original feeling, layout, and background music to encourage customers to stay longer and purchase more tea and pastries.

Worst coffee shop ever.... environment is good but the quality of the food and drink is 0 star.

I've been here three times, and three times it's been underwhelming. Don't get me wrong -- the inside decoration is very cute, and the cake displays are mouth-watering. But I've tried several cakes here and beverages, and they unfortunately look better than they taste. The 10 PM close time is one of the main reasons why I would be tempted to come back - if at all - because my husband and I always crave cafe time after meals. Finally, the service is subpar. The owner (and her daughter/family?) are often sitting outside with their friends chatting and socializing without so much as a nod to paying customers walking in. Last time I was there, they were sitting outside and ordering the ONLY WAITRESS around to THEIR TABLE while guests inside were being neglected...sooo, I do not recommend this place.

Delicious tea and coconut cake, elegantly served with tea lights to keep the tea warm. A beautiful, cozy, and modern space with lots of room and lovely music in the background. I can't recommend this place enough!

The cheese sandwich was fine, but more expensive than it was worth. The latte was not good at all.

Lots of space, friendly staff, plenty of outlets, great calming music. Especially lovely is the fact that the front windows open so you can sit inside and enjoy a breeze. A fantastic alternative to Northside Social or Bayou Bakery. Only negative in this reviewer's perspective is the prices for food are expensive.

Excellent coffee shop in Courthouse / Clarendon - the food is excellent. The staff are kind. Incredibly hospitable. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Try the knafeh is you have the opportunity.
