Searching for a replacement Ramen restaurant in our area, we found Boru today. Quaint little restaurant next to the cinema.Food was excellent and authentic; service was superb. Even though the place could use a facelift, it was very well kept and most importantly... CLEAN.

If you read any of my reviews you will see I hold ramen restaurants to a higher level than usual and I can say that Boru Ramen has met that expectation. Walking in they seemed very polite and attentive. Decided to sit at the bar and go straight for the entree. Ordered the SHIO CHICKEN KATSU, which consist of Japanese fried chicken in a chicken broth combo with a Sapporo beer which in my opinion is a must. Presentation was beautiful and it tasted equally delicious. From its excellent and wide variety of food to its elegant but simple straight forward design I very enjoyed this place.

Eel had to be the best I've eaten! Service is top-notch. The restaurant has a very communal and welcoming atmosphere. The moment you take your first bite, everything fades away. For 10-17 minutes, the food will touch all 5 senses in a wonderful way. It's only after I've finished eating do I come back into being. Must try place for all the foodies

Recommend! My husband and I come here regularly for ramen, it is flavorful, has great service and priced right. We each get a ramen ... (the tonkatsu and the Hokkaido miso I think ...) split a large Sapporo and some pan fried dumplings as well. Service is always fast and attentive. The music always used to make us giggle - they were re-productions of popular tunes that were slowed and somehow made mellow for dining.

I think this is one of the best local ramen places in the area. You can't go wrong with the TanTan and I've tried a few of the others including the miso. The prices have stayed pretty level since covid which most ramen places including Jinya cannot say. My boyfriend and I have started sitting at the bar and despite there being only one wait staff person, all the food came out pretty quickly. We also decided to try some sake and the waitress recommended and described a few items which was appreciated.

I had a great time here. I came for a date but I've known about this place for a while. The chicken was perfectly fried and I love how they place it on a wire Rack above your ramen. The service was spectacular. Will def be back!

Best ramen place we've found in the Arlington/Alexandria/Springfield area. We lived in Japan for 3 years, and this place comes closest to reminding us of the ramen we enjoyed there. The gyoza is consistently on point, ramen is tasty, and service is great. 100% would recommend - we've been back many times.Parking: There's a few (4ish) parking spots directly behind the restaurant.

This is always my go to place before karate class with my son. Especially in the winter, a bowl of ramen is a perfect father and son dinner.My son is super picky and they always customize for my 8B.Wonderful and happy food for the soup.
