I'm rarely compelled to write reviews, especially negative, but the wait time for dining in tonight was ridiculous. We sat down at 6:30 and got our meals(one at a time with about 20-30 minutes of wait between them) at 7:30pm.From the time of sitting down to receiving our last meal was 1.5 hours. No way I would ever come back here unless I had 3 hours to kill.

During our visit to Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival, my friend and I were craving the comforting taste of authentic Uyghur cuisine. After some online research, we stumbled upon a restaurant with impressive reviews. As we stepped into the restaurant, my friend was instantly hit with the nostalgic scent of home. It was a heartwarming moment for her, and I could feel her homesickness easing. We ordered Saozi noodles, Stir-Fried Rice Noodles, and lamb kababs. Each dish was a delicious fusion of flavors that whisked us away from the chaotic streets of downtown D.C. to the familiarity of home.Back from our trip, I attempted to recreate the Saozi noodles at home, but let's be honest, it didn't come close to the restaurant's version. Both my friend and I found ourselves yearning for another taste of their delectable offerings, vowing to return on our next visit to the D.C. area.I also recommended the restaurant to a friend, and they too had an exceptional experience. For those new to Uyghur cuisine and lovers of spicy flavors, I recommend trying the Stir-Fried Rice Noodles. They're a traditional local delight that's not to be missed. Our experience at this restaurant was truly memorable, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit. I sincerely hope everyone has as wonderful an experience as we did at this restaurant, and I extend my best wishes to the restaurant for continued success!

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DINE IN. Absolutely would give 0 star for service. Extremely slow and terrible service. Left after waiting over an hour without getting anything served. Don’t come if you don’t have a couple hours to spare or if you are hungry!!! They prioritize take out over dine in. They served other tables that ordered the same dish after us first. Food is good but takes more than an hour and half to be served. Been here couple times but on average we receive what we ordered an hour and half after we place in the order. They produced at least 6 take out orders before serving any dish for us, at the point we had to leave. Didn’t even bring us water after we reminded the server several times.

Fantastic meal. Kabobs were full of flavor and the meat pastries were flaky and delicious. Highly recommend for a new dinner idea in Arlington!

The dried fried soman was amazing. Didn’t know what to expect for Uyghur food but was pleasantly surprised. Would go back!

I ordered Lagman, eggplant salad and Samsa (to-go).Lagman is very authentic, despite it tastes a little plain probably because of too many noodles or not enough sauce. The texture and the hardness of Lagman noodles taste exactly like what I had in Xinjiang. It also has the veggie and meat mix with sauce in a separate bowl. You can pull it over the noodles. That’s what should be for Lagman. I’ve tried other Uyghur restaurants and they pre-mixed the sauce with noodles, which impacts the texture of the noodles.Eggplants are a little burnt on the outside. But they are good overall. They tend to add extra vinegar to the veggies, which is normal for Uyghur food.Samsa is good, though a bit on the pricey side for $8ish (2pc).I may come back to try other dishes.

In photos: cut noodles — amazing. Lamb kebob — perfect, and I usually don’t like lamb. Uyghur bread — dry, should have been served with the meal, not pleasant on its own. Definitely coming back, especially for those entrees. Service was fine, a little slow. Might order out next time. Thank you chef!Parking: It’s a tight parking lot that might not have spaces so either order takeout or park in a nearby neighborhood.

Ужасный сервис, очень долго несут еду, грязная скатерть, блюда остывшие, не рекомендовала бы.

We came to have a tasty meal, but in fact the food took 45 minutes to prepare and at the end they brought cold dishes. Very bad and poor place!!!
