I was in the DC crystal city area for a week, and went to Brij coffee every morning. The workers were pleasant each day. And their lattes are delicious.Dietary restrictions: They have non dairy alternatives.

was so impressed by the quality of the coffee and the service here! I’m a real beanhead, if you will, so I am by no means easy to please, but Brian bowled me over with his expertise as he patiently explained the menu to my less-cultured brother, who is not as much of a connoisseur as myself. Brian recommended the cortado and the cappuccino to us, and we were both wowed—I even learned something myself! would highly recommend to other coffee sophisticates and anyone looking to have a hot drink served with a warm smile.

Writing this on behalf of my wife. She kindly walked up this morning and was asking about what flavors there were for their machiatos and the person working proceeded to say, "well we aren't Starbucks, so....". That is so beyond un-called for. Not everyone is a coffee snob. Take your bad day and energy and keep it to yourself. ?

I rarely post reviews but found Brij Coffee through Yelp and wanted to make sure others could do the same! Brij is the perfect coffee spot -- delicious coffee (I ordered a skim latte) with a true focus on community. Brij is located in the Crystal City Water Park, a lovely green space, tucked behind all of the office buildings, with an outdoor food hall and lots of seating. Even on a cold rainy day, the warm welcome from owner Skyler Kelley made my morning!

Brij Coffee's mission is to uplift the community and bring good vibes and a smile with every coffee served. Mission accomplished! I stopped by the Water Park in need of some afternoon caffeination one rainy Tuesday and felt all the love and enthusiasm. My barista was super friendly, super informative, and you could just tell that he was excited to work for a company with such an important mission -- proceeds from every purchase go directly into a fund to help build a drop-in center for unhoused LGBTQ+ youth. As for my latte? It was perfect! They partner with Grace Street Coffee to create a delicious chocolatey blend and make their own house made vanilla syrup. The barista mentioned that every morning they do an intensive taste test of their product to make sure that everything is up to their standards. He also mentioned that a new sit down cafe will be opening in DC sometime soon too! Love seeing all of the passion put into this shop manifesting into something bigger. Five stars all around.

Had an opportunity to try this coffee for the first time and met the owner Skyler. What a wonderful person serving great tasting coffee with a great purpose in mind. Bridging the gap between homelessness and within the community. Would definitely go back just for the coffee and feeling good about the message.Dietary restrictions: Alternate milks available

Great coffee place. In my opinion (very personal taste obviously) the blend they use doesn’t lend itself well to Cappucino/Lattes but shines with less milk.

I was in DC for four days and struggled to find a great cup of plain ol' drip coffee - I finally found it here (on my last day, alas!). Great location with outdoor seating, nice vibe, and coffee!

My favorite coffee house in national landing! Great for getting your cup; great for getting a great and strong cup; and great people and leadership! Skylar has done so much to make this a success and I am so proud of them! The team is also fantastic! I’m so excited to see Brij grow and so glad to have been here from the start!

I had high hopes for the coffee at this spot. Went when there was no crowd in the morning. But, beans are either poor quality or the espresso was burnt. Milk steaming & foaming was above average.Barista was very kind in their service. No complaints and they went above and beyond to service me immediately and swiftly.Atmosphere is whatever. Last I checked, a single flag on display doesn’t imply inclusivity. In reality, it is excluding all the flags it decided not to display. Thus, better to not use the word inclusivity or just not display any flags.
