Listen. I only go here for the Chocolate de Abuela (Cuban hot chocolate). I’ve never tried anything else on the menu. It’s so hard to find bougie hot chocolate in this town. In the fall and winter, they put a Cuban style marshmallow in the bottom of the cup and it’s so decadent. But in the spring and summer, the marshmallow disappears but I think they still charge the same for this drink. Offer the marshmallow year round!! Or at least give us a little...
first time in. cute little fast casual, order-at-the-counter cafe. I had the ham croquettes and the empanada duo, one chicken, one bacon egg and cheese. the croquettes were delicious, I’ll definitely make a trip back just for those. the empanadas were super flaky and tender, and the filling was well seasoned and tasty. even the iced tea (mango) was a step-up from regular fast food. staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. great experience across the board.
Stopped in for a quick coffee and pastry. The atmosphere was lovely and the shop was pretty full for a Sunday morning. You order off a kiosk up front, it also seems like if it’s not busy you can go up front to order.
