I went two days in a row because on the website and on open table, it was advertises as a bottomless brunch experience. I live for a brunch experience. However I got there Saturday and things were crossed out with a black marker on the menu and there was no bottomless. So I went somewhere else. I was confused I went back and read the site again and I noticed they were having their last brunch the next day. So figured maybe that's what happened. Anyway I reserve a table on open table and it's labeled as a bottomless brunch experience so I reserve my table, drive from PG county again to Copa and the exact same thing is happening. And again I went to another place. False advertising is annoying especially taking that drive for nothing.

Discovering Copa was marvelous! After a disappointing meal the night before at Ser, this Spanish place 2 blocks away was astoundingly better and much, much more affordable. Each small plate was perfectly prepared & original (no repeating sauces, for example). // Our very kind server was attentive, informative, & quick. Sitting on the patio for lunch on a Saturday afforded fresh air, a great view of the prize winning pedestrian bridge, and excellent people watching! Plus music! They offer specials periodically. Happy hour is one. Oh, the bloody Mary was not , um, watery. // Now that Jaleo in Crystal City has closed, this will be our go to tapas place! I can't wait to try the rest of their dishes!

i went for thier restaurant week special which was an incredible value. the sangria flight was my absolute favorite thing i had. the tapas were surprisingly bland the garlic shrimp tasted of oil but not much garlic. The street taco was one note in terms of flavor and needed acidity.

Copa did an incredible job catering the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Hispanic Chamber's Hispanic Heritage Month celebration! I had not been yet, but once I tasted their pállela and patatas bravas at the event, we ended up stopping in for dinner. Their small plates were delicious and the chorizo and manchego flatbread and specialty G&T was the perfect way to end the evening. The ambiance inside was fun and spacious and the staff was quick, attentive, and accommodating. Can't wait to go back with friends for some after work bites!!

Highly disappointed in the entire experience. The service was exhausting. I went during unlimited brunch and the waiters were not attentive at all. Nobody came to check on me. I had to initiate every time I wanted another drink or tapas. Sometime it would be 10 minutes before I could even see the waiter. Food quality was not what I expected. Nothing to write home about. I was expecting great flavor and what i got was food that you could tell the love was not put into making it. No flavor to any of the dishes. I couldn't even finish the small plates because they were so bland. If you want a deal on food and don't mind mediocre food then you can try it. But if you want good food, good service, and a good deal, this is not the place for you.

Walked in on a Wednesday at 6pm. It was happy hour, but the place was barely 1/3 full. No one greeted at the host stand. I went to the bar, sat down, reviewed the menu, and sat for over 10 minutes unacknowledged by a single staff member, including several who were standing around. There must have been a bartender or someone working by the bar, because others there had food and drinks in front of them. I got up and left, still without a single person working there noticing. Not great! I live across the street, but this will not be my new regular spot.

Strangest "street tacos" I've ever had. I love tacos and so I eat them a lot. I would not go back here.

Good tapas. If you don't know what tapas is, look it up before you eat here so you know what to expect.Quality food and pretty large selection of draft options (beer and sangria).Caramel cheesecake was excellent.

We had a pleasant experience on Sunday, September 5th. The Manager of the restaurant was a wonderful host. She greeted us from the moment we walked in with open arms and really did go out of her way to accommodate our requirements and stay comfortable to indulge our dinner. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed which was perfect to have a conversation. The overall service provided by Miguel was excellent. The paella Negra with garlic sauce was extremely delicious and well presented. And so was the cheesecake for dessert. This was an excellent experience.Thank you,Lola Nester

Im going to give an honest review in hopes of saving someone else the burden of eating here. I visited this restaurant on Sunday September 5, 2021 for a birthday brunch with my sisters. Many things went horribly wrong which I'll explain below.1. Upon arrival we asked if we could sit outside where people were already seated and was rudely told no because it was going to rain. It did not.2. We were seated and a young man by the name of Byron attended us. (He was friendly and tried his best, honestly) however, we were not given any silverware, which I requested once from our waiter and twice to the manager. It is absolutely unacceptable to have to ask for cutlery THREE times with food visibly in front of us.3. My main complaint is to the manager who made it her utmost duty to make my sisters and I feel less than anyone else seated at this establishment. My sister asked if she could switch out a plate (roasted beets) for another one to which she responded "you don't like it don't eat it" in the middle of my sister speaking. No one came to check in on us while other tables were constantly checked up on. When our food did come out we had to send a plate back because they literally gave us raw beef that was requested to be well done.4. The only visible difference was that we were the only people of color in this establishment. I've never blatantly been discriminated against at a restaurant but this felt sickening. We each only ordered one time at this unlimited brunch and decided to take our hard earned money somewhere else. Rude service, constantly having to ask for the same thing, having to send back food, not being checked on and belittlement is not what I payed for.5. I asked to speak to the manager who not only dismissed me but offered no solution or at the very least validation towards my complaint.I'll be reaching out to higher management as well because no one deserves to be treated like we were. This place will never see a dime from me and I hope this review helps you pick another restaurant that is more culturally accepting and aligns with your moral ethics. Do not go here if you are the slightest bit progressive and believe people of all races should be treated with at least, respect.

Unlimited Tapas Night was wonderful. We were so pleased with all the options- not a bad dish the whole night. Pleasant environment. More traffic/people arrived, it did get noisy, but you can still here your companion. Will definitely visit again!

If you want a very fun, Spanish sports bar, look no further! Copa is such a great spot in Ballston and they offer an amazing menu. From the sangria flights to the patatas, Copa is the place to be. Aside from the cuisine, the staff is so friendly and the Premier League Soccer theme offers some fun ambiance. I imagine Copa is a blast on game day.

We stopped by for dinner during happy hour and were not impressed by the food. Chicken Skewer: Burnt and dry. Pot Pie Croquettes: The chicken was dry although the filling itself wasn't. Additionally, the exterior was dark brown, not golden brown, leading me to believe it was cooked too long or the oil was dirty. Both dishes came with a side of oily cabbage. We believe it was supposed to be sauerkraut but it was not acidic and had no flavor. Beef Empanadas: It wasn't a traditional beef and cheese empanada but we really liked it. The tomato sauce was really flavorful. Cheese Bites: My favorite item that we ordered. The sauce was really delicious (floral and citrusy) and the cheese was evenly breaded and fried.

We went here last night. Not what we were hoping for. The ambiance is great -- really nice decor and background music. But the food didn't come close to matching up. The rice and beans were flavorless and had essentially no beans, and the beef empanada had minimal beef. The lamb and chorizo skewers were ok but overpriced and were covered in vegetable oil. Same goes for the sauerkraut that came on the side -- who puts freakin oil in sauerkraut?? Given the many competing restaurant options in Ballston Quarter, I suspect Copa isn't long for this place.

Came for brunch and stayed for the Mango Honey Sangria! Best sangria in Arlington. Brunch tapas were amazing as well. Salmon toast and calamari were our favorites. Will be returning for their affordable beer buckets next time.
