What a nice experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The owner was incredibly kind, friendly, and positive, and his warm personality made the visit even more enjoyable. The food was fresh, clean, and had that comforting homemade feel that is so hard to find these days. I especially appreciated how welcoming the uncle was, he made everyone feel like family. Good food, great atmosphere ( Morocco was playing and won!), and nice people. I enjoyed my meal...
After studying abroad in Morocco and falling in love with the food, I'm so happy I found an amazing and authentic local restaurant. The owner is so kind and there are often Moroccan people patronizing the restaurant so you know it's legit. Give it a try if you want an unforgettable meal. I especially love the bastilla and the lamb with plums. Don't be afraid to eat with the bread and your hands! You'll want to sop up every last drop on the flavorful sauce/broths.
Best food ever. I still dream about the lamb dish. I’d i lived in VA I’d eat there weekly. So very good. Service was top notch and made me feel at home. The owner was so kind and helpful. Bastilla was delicious. The lamb with lemon and olives with fries was soooo good. I think I licked my plate clean.
