First Impression offers local soul food with exceptional customer service at reasonable prices. The restaurant serves delicious dishes, including crabcake, chicken wings, mac and cheese, collard greens, and traditional comfort food options like smothered pork chops. Though it appears unassuming from the outside, once the food is tasted, the first impression quickly surpasses expectations. The fried catfish platter is cooked to perfection, freshly breaded and fried to order, making it a standout dish. The food is prepared quickly, and the service is superb, with very clean food preparation areas. While it is not a dine-in restaurant, it is still highly recommended for a comforting and satisfying meal.
