I saw “Soulfood” and wanted to try this out for the first time. I ordered fish & shrimps combo with macaroni & cheese (flavored nicely, but mine was a little overcooked) and “ canned Glory Greens” I mean collard greens. Yes that’s why I lowered the rating, a soul food spot should NEVER sell canned greens (Yuk). Also I would recommend they lemon the seafood before frying it, to take the fishy taste out. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I'm not gonna lie, I was very skeptical when I saw there was a soul food restaurant on this side of the DMV area.
