I was staying in the area and saw that this was a Robert Irving restaurant so I thought I'd give it a try. The hostess asked for my breakfast voucher and became confused when I said I wasn't staying at that hotel. Then had to ask the kitchen if I could order off the menu instead of going to the buffet even though the menus were sitting right there at the hostess station. She was friendly, I just don't think she had been trained very well. The breakfast itself...
Mena, our server, was absolutely delightful. Everyone else in the dining room was staying at the hotel as a result of mishaps with flights and she was a pleasant bright spot in a stressful situation.
Stayed at the hotel for our trip, we did not purchase the breakfast with the rooms so had to pay extra. The cost of the breakfast was too high for what you got in my opinion. Weekday continental breakfast (fruits and bread) is $11, weekend breakfast bar (fruits, breads, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles) is $19. Not a fan of McDonald’s, which is next door, but for the price and the quality of Fresh Kitchen I should have gone to McDonald’s instead.
