Hawkers Asian Street Food is one of our favorite places when we’re craving bold, authentic flavors. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. The menu offers a great variety, so there’s something for everyone, and everything we ordered was delicious.

The atmosphere is lively and fun, with a modern take on Asian street food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great dining experience from start to finish.

If you’re looking for flavorful Asian cuisine, generous portions, and a vibrant atmosphere, Hawkers Asian Street Food is definitely worth a visit. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Came on a Wednesday during lunch and the host was beyond nice and helpful. Got the pad thai and it automatically comes with chicken and shrimp. Got it for $18, which included tax, so not bad at all. Tasted great and will be back!

This is my second time eating here. I can't say it was great. I ordered the basil fried rice and it is scorched and bitter to my taste. Trun it down back there and work on your high heat cooking.

Horrible experience. We came on Friday afternoon and sat at the bar. The service was extremely bad and frustrating. The bartender had an attitude the whole time. We waited 20 minutes to order food and eventually just left before placing the order. Would not recommend.

Came Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend and it was PACKED. Ordered 2 drinks, one alcoholic and one not, and the server even told us as we ordered them that the bar was backed up and they might take a little longer. The alcoholic drink tasted terrible the first time so we asked them to remake it and it was FANTASTIC, the other non alcoholic drink was good as well. The food was fantastic, definitely worth the wait! My favorite bite of the night was the chicken satay but the noodle dishes and appetizers were also great! Would definitely come again!

The food is tasty, the service was nice. I would come here again. The curry is so good! Their version of Expresso martini is amazing as well.

Me and my partner went to Hawker‘s Asian street food for dinner last night. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess. When she brought us to our seat at a table in the middle of the floor, we did ask to change to a booth as there were many booths available and not that many people there. She made it seem as if it was no problem, but when I went to the bathroom, I overheard her speaking to a waitress saying oh these customers want to be with moved to another section so you gotta deal with them in a somewhat annoyed tone, and I thought surely she could not be talking about us, but when I sat down the person she was talking to was definitely our waitress. Now our waitress did give us time to decide on the food we wanted and everything like that, but I noticed that she gave a different kind of presence to other tables. There was a table right beside us. She was smiley friendly talking to them about their food, etc. drinks, etc., but with us not once did she ask if the food was OK she only ever she only ever interacted with us to take our order, drop the food off and then when we called her over for the check. I understand they were closing, so there was a lot to do, but when we asked for the check we did have to wait a couple minutes as it seems she was helping close down the kitchen. Now I’m unsure as to the reason we received different treatment then the other tables she was waitressing for. On top of that we did not order much food but my side of jasmine rice was no where near warm simply room temperature and the chicken to my kids Lo mein was cold while the noodles were warm but burnt.

I dont even write reviews like that but I will say it was not my best experience at Hawker’s Asian street.

My daughter and I came yesterday for lunch (2 pm). Service was quick and food was awesome!

PSA - You can’t expect to come to a popular restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night and think your food is going to come out like “Speedy Gonzalez.” You might want to try a weeknight evening or a weekend lunch. Just saying…

It was so good that back today all by myself. Adding to the food and the atmosphere is that the staff is very nice and attentive! Granted it’s 11:30 am on Mother’s Day… guess what? My food was out in less than 15 minutes. Pick your DAY and TIME!😬

(The music is also fantastic! It sounds like I’m at the Ritz or Classics 40 years ago! 😆)

LOVE IT! 😍

Hawkers is a fun spot for a quick bite and drinks, with a great atmosphere and reasonably priced menu. They’re currently a bit understaffed at the bar with only one bartender, so service can slow down on busy nights, but it’s definitely not a dealbreaker. The food menu offers a wide variety of Asian street food favorites, so there’s usually something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, it’s a great place to hang out, grab some shareable plates, and have a good time.

After getting some great recommendations we did a long trek to get to Hawkers and was totally worth it. No. Good Indo-Chinese joints in VA but Hawkers comes close to the street food from India in taste.
We skipped the popular Roti Canai since we are used to the 'porotta' in India. Went with many appetizers - Yi-yi chicken dumplings, Saeol chicken bao, chilli crisp wontons. The wontons were such a standout. Best South Asian appetizer I had in a while. There was a slight goof up on the order where we got the Twice Fried Wings instead. Hawkers executive Chef Milad Mostafavi was doing his rounds. We were not aware but we told him and he was kind enough to let us have those wings on the house.
We then got Po Po Lo chicken curry and Char Kay Teow noodles. The noodles were very good. Best I had in a long time.
We loved the food so much we packed many of these items to go for the next day! :)
Parking is a bit of a pain. Park in the mall garage. Also gets very crowded so go early if you can.
