Ordered sushi eel roll and it was a HUGE mistake. The sushi did not appear to be cleaned and boned as I found SEVERAL small bones in the roll. I couldn't even finish two rolls and had to throw the rest of it away. What a waste.

Time for a light pre-theater meal so I stopped here to see what’s good. There is a moderate crowd here for dinner, and the service was pretty slow. Good thing I sat at the bar or no telling how long it would have taken to order, etc. The Menus are worn, torn in places, and not cared for — yucky touch. A few pages in I just ordered something from the Chef’s Signature list — The Alvin, which was a good portion and really well made. But given the mood and slow service of this place I’d strictly order sushi to go if I lived nearby. The depressing part of the meal was sitting in a restaurant seeing that all of the televisions were on a News Channel — yes, really, news — yawner and depressing. Good thing I sat at the bar at least I could ask the sushi maker to tell me how to get my check. He had someone bring me the check. Good sushi … all else is forgettable.

Amazing customer service!! We got take out and needed a modification with the order which we forgot to do through DoorDash. The host who picked up the phone took care of it for us without any issues and we were so happy since many places would charge or say no. Truly made my night and we will be ordering more from this restaurant!

Food was to die for! While I love ramen, I typically don't get it because the meat serving is one or two paper-thin slices...not at Ichiban - the ramen came with two 1.5cm thick chunks of meat, which was deliciously cooked and full of flavour - absolutely loved it!!! The teriyaki steak was also one of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked tender meat with a hint of grill flavour. The only less enjoyable part was the service...while quick&correct, also perfectly cold and unwelcoming. But that won't stop me from coming back for a delicious bite.
