This is my go-to sushi place. The food is consistently good, the drinks are hard and delicious, and the atmosphere is elegant without feeling pretentious. Staff are no nonsense, get-to-the-point types, which I appreciate.
Time for a light pre-theater meal so I stopped here to see what’s good. There is a moderate crowd here for dinner, and the service was pretty slow. Good thing I sat at the bar or no telling how long it would have taken to order, etc. The Menus are worn, torn in places, and not cared for — yucky touch. A few pages in I just ordered something from the Chef’s Signature list — The Alvin, which was a good portion and really well made. But given the mood and slow service...
Amazing customer service!! We got take out and needed a modification with the order which we forgot to do through DoorDash. The host who picked up the phone took care of it for us without any issues and we were so happy since many places would charge or say no. Truly made my night and we will be ordering more from this restaurant!
