My friend and I are in Washington for a 4 day work conference and we just had the best meal we've eaten since being here. From the moment we walked in we were treated with the Italian hospitality I grew up with. We had an amazing appetizer of breaded zucchini, mushrooms stuffed with crab, and calamari. Next came a four cheese manicotti and lasagna with a loaf of homemade bread and garlic butter. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge with lots of left...
What a wonderful surprise this absolute gem was, their food really delivered above and beyond expectations. The service was excellent as well. Would definitely be an excellent spot for a date night.
What an absolutely incredible Italian spot. Service was so attentive and friendly and the food was so delicious and the wine paired so well with the meal. It's so hard to find a restaurant that has alternative options for the menu. Instead of gluten free pasta , they use rice! No gummy weird GF pasta but a dish that feels complete and maintains all the flavor. I would absolutely recommend if you are wanting comfort food and can't have gluten.
