This is the best Lebanese food in the DMV! Iban was my server. He was attentive, kind, and oh so helpful. I’ve been to numerous Lebanese restaurants over the past 20 years in the area and this is my new go to place.

After a meeting at the Pentagon, a few of us headed over to Pentagon City looking for lunch. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, but one member of our group immediately recommended Lebanese Taverna. Having grown up around a large Lebanese and Middle Eastern community, they know authentic food when they taste it, and this place had their enthusiastic endorsement before we ever walked through the door.

After eating there, I understand why.

Lebanese Taverna in Pentagon City is a frequent spot after work. Great spot whether you’re with a large group or just sitting at the bar grabbing some mezza. Service is exceptional, and the owner/manager is friendly and energetic. My recommendation: order several mezza plates like the hummus and dolma and just snack and pick while you enjoy Lebanese wine and good company.
