This place is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! Our family tried it out last night and absolutely loved it. The waiter was so patient with us as we took time to contemplate our order (and he was great with our indecisive kids!). My husband mentioned it was my birthday, and the waiter brought me a cute stuffed as a bday gift. I highly recommend this place! BTW, I had the shrimp fajitas and they were amazing!

They care and it shows: we've been wishing for something other than Uncle Julios (a chain that owns Burger King) or El Paso (authentic but mediocre tex mex at higher prices than the quality supports). I was just poking around and saw reviews for Los Chamacos - next to Bangkok 54 and the Arlington Cinema Draft - were way higher than any hole-in-the-wall Latino place. Having lived in LA and visited Mexico several times, I am always looking for a place with good, authentic flavors. I really enjoyed their gorditas, tamales, and salsa. Service was very warm and friendly. The restaurant feels cozy and colorful, prices are reasonable for what you get. I would definitely come back here.
