Why have people at front with the option for choosing your burrito if you're forced to use the tablets that don't work? They clearly don't have their act together

The food selections are slighty similar to Chipotle and Cava with fresh ingredients that are prepared well. Customization of the bowl was enjoyable and I appreciate that quinoa is a selection at Maizal. Portions vary by attendant; fortunately mine was quite generous ?. Will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.

This is at the food court. Ordered through their kiosk so didn’t interact with any of the workers. Was so excited for the chaufa rice, but as a Peruvian I was so disappointed with it ? it had a mix of green peas and carrots in it. Whoever is making it does NOT know what Chaufa is lol or what it tastes likeBut other than that I thought the food was good. I was starving so idk if that had anything to do with it.Also got the yuca fries 0/10 recommend. Don’t get it. Tastes like water ? like how could you ruin yuca..anyways. The churros were good with the chocolate.I’d probably go again and try the quesadilla.

The hot sauce was so bad and chunky and the bowl that I ordered was just bad. It is an off brand of chipotle. Like it's not bad but I would not recommend it..

They'll be out of business shortly. Terrible. Really, the worst latin american option in the whole DMV. They don't even bother to ask whether you're eating in or taking out---that should tell you something about the level of care. The nachos were completely flavorless. The "queso" involved tortilla chips shoveled into a bag and a small plastic container of lukewarm cheese sauce. In 9 years living in this area, this is the absolute worst I've had. And it isn't "street food," by the way, you morons. Nachos are not "street food."

Went on a slow day, food took a while to come out, but it was well worth it for the price. Yucca fries were on point, if a little salty. The passion fruit juice was delicious. Steak empanada was a bit greasy but really good.

Quick spot for lunch. Lots of options to add to your bowl lot burrito. Guac is extra and they don't give you very much. I think it's a little better than Chipotle. Though I wish they gave you a small bread of some sort how Cava gives a pita upon request. I've had their arepas before though and they're delicious and good value. Overall a fine place for a quick lunch. I got the bowl with mixed greens, rice and brisket with a bunch of toppings. Also got a soda and tipped. It was $17-$18 in total.

As a customer who used to visit 1-2 times a week, writing this review is disappointing. There was a clear shift in the management at Maizal. The menu shrunk significantly removing some of my favorites like the enchiladas and tacos dorados. At the same time the portions got smaller and more expensive. Service for online orders is almost always delayed from the time they tell you at checkout. As for the positives, they still charge a reasonable price for some items on the menu and they are decently quick if you order in person. Building your own bowl is the best bet as they do have some nice variety of additions for bowls.

Pretty bland ingredients, the food was okay but not great.

Skip it and get chipotle. Got a burrito here. It had way too much rice and a small amount of bland beef. They only added a teaspoon of guacamole and salsa then covered the whole thing in too much mayo. Worst Mexican food ever.

Will never go to chipotle again. Burrito picante was perfect.

They advertise their build your own bowl for $10.50 but charge you $14.50 and just ignore the price in their menu.

The food is great but I am subtracting stars for the ordering system. Today was the second time I have come and had them not have my order (today) or part of my order (last time). We ordered both times on the little screens. This time, they said they take the order and not to order on the screen. This is very confusing. If you order on the screen, make sure you 1) get a receipt and 2) immediately speak with a human so they know what you ordered. The order doesn’t transfer from the screen to a human otherwise.

Avoid. This place is a ripoff. Every other time their food containers are low or empty, they simply reduce the quantity of your portion. Rather than refilling their container to provide full servings. Last 3 times I've been I've gotten a fraction of chicken, rice, etc. in the bowl. I said something the last time and the staff simply shook his head. I wont go back. Stay away.
