Went in for dinner and had some delicious beef pho and phenomenal caramelized chicken with rice. Prices seem a little high at first glance, but you get huge portions and they go not skimp on the meat. Definitely go and try this historic restaurant which is the last surviving business of Clarendon's Little Saigon.
we got the Mr. Thoi’s Deep Fried Pork Spareribs and shaking beef. I GASPED when I tasted the ribs, they were bursted with flavors and the crunchy garlic just added so much depth and texture to the dish. It’s Mr. Thoi’s dish for a reason!
I've been coming to Nam-Viet for well over 10 years. I would go to the spot on Connecticut Avenue during lunch until it closed. Now I drive to Claremdon because the food and service is amazing. I get the Eye Round Pho and the Shrimp toast. I love this place.
