I came to review this place planning to mentiow how it is slightly overrated but I think that has already been conveyed. The only reason I would say it is is that there simply isn't a lot of flavor in the desserts. I wonder if they use less sugar or if there is some other reason. But relative to other bakeries I've been to (see other reviews) I've found that to be the case. It is also a bit expensive. OTOH, I've had good experiences in the past ordering custom...
DO NOT place pick up orders during popular holidays. Lines are up the block and wrapped around the corner. Excellent goods but they NEED a better system in place for prepaid pick up.
This place isn't open on Sundays, but I forgive them. The pastry here is lovingly made with extreme attention to detail. Cream puff swans? Macarons? Croissant? tartes? volcano cake? and on and on and on and it's soooo hard to choose just one. The staff are friendly and patient, and package up your selection as if it is a newborn baby. Really great place to treat yourself, OR to get something special for someone - including celebration cakes
