It feels like a family owed business. The warmth that is at the restaurant is incredible. I love Bolivian food and have been to a lot of different Bolivian Restaurants in the DMV. A little bit off topic ( but similar as I am attesting the kindness of the owner of the restaurant, which I feel as if goes a long way!), but on the night of 2/6, I had a flat tire spontaneously after hitting the curb. In my fragile state, I asked the owner of La Perla if he could help me change to a spare. Went here after my girlfriend forced the beauty shop next door upon me. The food is fantastic, service was great, and everything was well priced. Best Bolivian food in the greater DC area!
