Ruth's Chris Steak House

I attended the Tastemaker event which is a must do activity. The food was incredible as well as the wait staff. If you haven't attended a Tastemaker event, you definitely should go to one in the New Year.

Issa made our dining experience even better! Issa is an amazing server and very attentive. Celebrated my son's 20 birthday and he had a great time.

I gave a chain steak house a shot and was sorely disappointed. We arrived early and sat at the bar for a pre-dinner drink. No one greeted us, offered menus or poured water for 10 minutes. Others at the bar were offered refills and additional menu items while we were ignored. Once we sat for dinner, we ordered the crab cake appetizer. There was zero lump crab - only claw meat and too much mayonnaise. We ordered two filet mignon steaks - each was ordered medium rare, but one was overcooked and served with several cuts in it presumably made by kitchen staff to check the color. Our asparagus side dish was poorly prepared - half of the asparagus had the tough ends that had to be cut off. We ordered a bottle of wine with our entree that we poured ourselves - our server never refilled the glass after opening the bottle. For a restaurant at this price point, I expect significantly better service and food.

About the most underwhelming visit to a Ruth Chris ever. Dining alone and decided to eat at the bar. Bartender with tinted rose colored glasses was server. Just ok - bare minimum interaction, especially when i was undecuded about what my cocktail or wine selection was. Barely communicated clearly with me as I ordered my food and sampled wine. One wine was so bad it smelled moldy, likely open in the fridge for a while. Ordered a burger - bun overtoasted, lettuce so wilted it was brown, cheese so cooked it was brown and tough. Was such a busy day that this was my first meal of the day at 7pm. Visited RC because of longstanding quality and consistency- this trip to RC Arlington / DC was a total miss.

Always a nice experience. Our server Teddy was wonderful. Even got a visit from Brian Nug who was out first service since making it a tradition to make this our place for anniversary celebrations. Thank you to both!

We had a wonderful experience for my son's birthday! The food was outstanding as was the service and atmosphere.

First and foremost, I'm super disappointed that my reservation notes weren't paid attention too. I received a a text saying my table was ready, once I got to the restaurant, my table in fact WAS NOT READY!!! They were about to seat us until one of the receptionist noticed I put a note. Not sure who word reservations, but this should've been caught before we got there as well as honoring My request. How hard is it to get some flowers and a card? Especially when you know the guest will spend hundreds of dollars? That would've cost you about $25 at best. I specifically asked for the table to be made nice for a birthday. Request wasn't fulfilled or wasn't acknowledged. They did the bare minimum. Sprinkled some confetti on the table. I actually watch a manager prepare a table beside me for another guest birthday and you all have to do better. Steak48, STK, Flemings or Del Fresco's would never!! Our server was The worst!!!!!! He wasn't attentive at all, he was super attentive to other guest, but not us. We had to order drinks through someone else, had to get my check taken by someone else. Food wasn't tasty at all, the server asked us did we want boxes and we said no, that was his opportunity to find out why we left so much of our dinner on the plates, the lamb chops were super fatty and barely had edible meat, Brussels weren't cooked fully, crab cakes were cold on the top, steak was only Okay, I've had better here. Overall experience wasn't great for it to be a birthday. I frequent Ruth Chris a lot and was super disappointed. I spent $270 and it was a complete waste of my money. I would've rather ate at Fridays for dinner than what I received last night far as taste, hospitality and service. This was a total fail. Maybe one of my worst experiences at Ruth.

We had an amazing meal at Ruth's Chris Steak House. The staff was amazing especially our server Vola! We had a couple of surprises, first the table was covered with Happy Anniversary decorations then after dinner we were treated to an amazing dessert. Just a special evening!

I ordered the stuffed chicken and the chicken was a little burnt, but seasoned well and tasted very good. Maybe they should work on not burning it the next time.

The ambiance was extraordinary! Looking out at the airport and Potomac River, at night, was quite breathtaking. That made the night even better. The food was delicious, as always.

My server customer service was amazing. Her service was extraordinary exceptional. She made my birthday an experience to remember. 

I always appreciate the excellent food service and atmosphere at Ruth’s Chris, James O’Toole was extremely attentive to myself and my colleague who had never been to your restaurant before. We will definitely be back and thoroughly enjoyed the surf and turf specials as well as the cocktails that were precisely made

First time here ! Staff was welcoming, professional, food was ON POINT. Fresh, hot , drinks were made with fresh fruit . 11th floor view of the airport.
