I’ve been here a ton of times and it’s always great. But just had dinner with a group of 6 - including two three year olds - and wanted to shout out our server Brendan. He was so patient with the kiddos - really went above and beyond enough for me to want to give him public props. Give him a raise Silver Diner.

Our family are here for the first time today. We loved the outdoor seating and the menu. We all found several things we were excited to try. The food came out nicely prepared and tasted great. Our only issue was with service. The hostess barely made eye contact with us when we arrived and never smiles. Our waitress was reasonably friendly but was not proactive in any way. We had to ask for syrup for our French toast, butter for our toast, refills on coffee, etc. It seemed like...

I stopped by this morning. I waited five minutes to get seated. That should have been my first indication of what to expect. The server sat me, gave me a menu, then promptly return to take my order. I asked for one more minute. Another 6-7 minutes passed and I had to stand up to flag her down. I was there a total of 30 minutes before breakfast was served. I asked her to cash me out since I needed to leave as soon as I was done. Still waited. Very slow service. No, they weren't...
