We own the dealership next door and get food from here often. I am from Honduras and this is the closest to a home cooked meal I have found. Reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. Higlhy recommedn the CARNE ASADA, all PUPUSAS and BEEF SOUP.

The food was average, the egg tasted very good, but the beans were even burnt, the tortillas and the dish were barely warm :/ . The corn atol is very sweet and without pieces of corn, the service is fast, the lady with glasses who charges is very bad-tempered and doesn't even know how to respond to a good morning or a thank you. I wouldn't eat there again, but it was the worst place I've ever eaten.

Sofia's Pupuseria is delicious every time I go - a favorite spot on Columbia Pike. Great pupusas, delicious plantains, and a variety of Latin/Salvadorian options. I also like the comfortable, laidback atmosphere there. If you are the kind of person who needs to spend $50-$100 for a fine-dining, Michelin star experience, then this is not the place for you. The meals are served on styrofoam plates on plastic trays. But if you let that hold you back from trying Sofia's, then you are truly missing out on some incredible flavors. Give it a try - you won't regret it!
