What white people think Japanese food is like… which isn’t necessarily bad.With the atmosphere of loud rock music it’s tough to savor the taste of the sushi (and the expensive prices!). The quality is seemingly not bad, but unfortunately the menu pairs the fresh fish with non-traditional flavors, it detracts from the quality, which was good for the salmon at the very least. The eel was unusually chewy, almost overcooked.The service is nice. If you just want to go out drinking, and don’t care about the food, this might be your place.Oh and also, they included tax within the tip calculation, but when displaying the tip amounts only displayed the subtotal. A bit dishonest.

A while back, my friend and I were searching for a Japanese restaurant serving ramen. We stumbled upon one and were delighted with our experience. The ramen was hot and flavorful, perfect for a cold and windy day. The pork belly steamed buns were delicious, and the rolls were freshly prepared and paired well with the ramen. The restaurant had a high ceiling, which made it feel spacious, and the place was clean and tidy. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Japanese food.Parking: Parking can be accessible on Sundays, and it was difficult because the area is hilly.

Asked for the waiter for his recommendations and he was very informative and helpful. We got everything he recommended and it was delicious. The extra sauces and checkins were very appreciative. I would go again.

Amazing sushi! The man at the front (seemed like the owner) was extremely rude to us for absolutely no reason, but once we were seated it was phenomenal. Max was our server and he was so attentive to all of our needs, helped us find a good deal on the food, and was very helpful with suggestions!

The starters were nice. Ordered the braised beef bun and the gyoza. About all I was able to get as it took over 30 minutes for my sushi to come out. I alerted the waiter before hand that I was in a hurry because me and my date were going to see a movie but this did not enhance the experience. Instead we ended up ordering two more starters which came out extremely fast and were kind of cold. The taste was good but the temperature wasn't right. Other people who were seated after us got their food quickly. It was a regular spicy tuna how hard could that be to make? All in all maybe this place has potential but I'm not seeing it.
Got two lunch specials. A great amount of food! Delicious.

The food is absolutely amazing 10/10. But the service was not so much, the waiter did not come around once to ask if we were ok, after more than an hour we asked another waiter passing by to order one more roll and then he brought our waiter back..

Went on a Thursday night around 7. I usually like sushi rock but food was bland and the server was nowhere to be found. It was also so loud I couldn't hear the person next to me. Don't know if I'll be going back.
