Our server was very attentive during our visit and also the other staff. We ordered the combo platter where the chef chooses sashimi and nigiri and then you have your choice of two specialty rolls for $62, great value! We picked the Light my Fire and Tornado roll, yum!!! We very much enjoyed Sushi rock and highly recommend for Sushi lovers! They also take OpenTable reservations, another plus!
I was walking when a sudden storm hit. The owner of the restaurant (I assume) quickly signaled for me to come inside to avoid the rain. He handed me tissues and an umbrella and told me to sit and wait as long as I needed until the storm calmed. He was incredibly kind, and I couldn’t thank him enough. I have been here a few times and even with the kitsch of all the rock decorations, the food quality is great.
However, the last two visits are the reason I'm writing a review. I went alone on a busy night a few weeks ago, and the FOH manager was incredibly nice and helpful to me - went out of his way to make sure I was being taken care of when the staff were super busy, and he was just overall attentive and caring.
