Delicious Lamb Byriani. Excellent service. Best Lassi I've had in a while. Host patiently waited for us to finish even after closing hours. Wonderful people!!

We tried pakora and it was staled, and hard. Mulatany soon was also had a raw tumarac. Not cooked. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Waste of money and they didn’t not ask what’s is wrong. Unbelievable. No one cares in this restaurant.

We were not finished with our mediocre food before they flicked the lights on (20 minutes before closing). They stopped the music and suddenly we hear the low hum of the old freezer in the kitchen and the food/restaurant looked like a hooker when you turn the lights on. No, thanks.

I had chicken tikka dry but 1/2 of the chicken was tough though the flavor was good. My friend had chicken curry and said it was great. Service was good.

This restaurant is incredibly negligent and treats African Americans very poorly. I had a life threatening allergic reaction to the Butter Chicken. They put almond paste in it but do not indicate that it contains nuts. All other menu items with nuts are detailed. I asked the waiter beforehand if there were nuts in the food we ordered. I had the lamb vindaloo my partner ordered the Butter Chicken. I let the waiter know that I had a nut allergy and that I could not eat anything with nuts. The waiter assured me there were no nuts in the meal. I got through my meal and felt immediately sick. I was lightheaded, faintish, and my throat itched. I went to the bathroom and vomited and almost passed out. Once I got back to the table my partner informed me that he asked the waiter again and the waiter said there were nuts in the food. As I sat at the table my throat and nose began to swell shut. My nose was completely swollen to the point where I couldn't breathe and my throat was almost completely swollen as well. I could barely speak and was getting lightheaded. My lips began to turn blue and i could not close my mouth because of the extreme swelling. I indicated that I needed to call 911, I asked the waiter what the address for the restaurant (as I was on the phone with 911) he said one moment went to help another table and then came back with a business card. The waiter never asked me how I was doing, if it was something in the food, even as the ambulance wheeled me out of the restaurant, the waiter or staff were nowhere to be found. Even before my allergic reaction the waiter paid no attention to my partner and I. He refused to show us to our table, he pointed at a row of tables and told us to sit. We watched him seat 2 parties ahead of us where he walked them to the table. He did not offer or give us menus. We had to call him over to the table to place our orders. Each time he would make sure to help other tables before assisting us. When he brought out our food (which came very late, we ordered before a few tables and were the last to get our apps and meal) he did not carry it on a tray, instead he used his hands which is fine but his thumb (no gloves) were inside of our bowls of stew. This was truly a heartbreaking experience. My allergic reaction accelerated within 30 minutes, I could feel my chest tightening and my breathes getting shallow. Thankfully, the ambulance was able to come quickly within calling however, The business was watching me die and they did nothing. Regardless of the taste of the food, this is a restaurant that doesn't care about it partons at all. I will be reaching out to management.

I don't know what this 3.5 stars nonsense is! This place is amazing. The naan. The marinated/seasoned chicken. The lamb. The sauces. The meat appetizer. The madras. OMGGGGGG

This spot has so many options and great food. The food is perfectly seasoned and the staff is really friendly. Highly recommended. Got a meat sampler plate and the variety and taste was amazing.

I visited this place twice with my fiancé because the Tikka Masala was so good we had to get seconds. When we came back the second time our waiter asked my fiancé for a tip while I used the bathroom and after we paid. If I wasn’t on a college student budget I would’ve tipped no question, but I thought it was pretty rude to ask for one. The food and service was amazing but it made my fiancé uncomfortable when they asked her for a tip.

I ordered from a pick-up from this place. When I arrived, I realized that I had ordered for pick-up from the Alexandria location, and not the Crystal City one. I was a little out of it, I guess... The persons, both on the phone from the Alexandria location and the one on site at the Crystal City location were extremely nice and accommodating. The order was cancelled at the Alexandria location and I reordered from the place I was, in Crystal City. For that, they get 5 stars! They did not make me feel like an idiot (which frankly, I kind of was) and they were willing to help! I really appreciated that. The food was good, not spicy at all from what I am used to with Indian food. The Mali Kofta was excellent and the Onion Kulcha as well.

The buttered chicken is fantastic.

It was a disgrace to receive such small portion of Ras Malai and only one ball of ras malai. Definitely not worth the price. Very disappointed in the dessert. Received the meat appetizer and all were rubbery taste, no flavor and uncooked. Very disappointed to order. Was my first time trying. Not satisfied
