Food was top-notch at this location. Our service was somewhat slow because the restaurant had a ton of very large parties in town for a conference. Our server was kind and attentive and allowed us to linger at the table for a long conversation, and we never felt rushed. My only recommendation is to position large parties in a way to allow better access to the adjacent booths. Were a large group w- many checks. The food was great but took almost 2 hours from placing order to getting food, and my burger was either kept under heat lamps or just overcooked as I ordered med rare and got med well... One of our group had to order OJ as after that long a wait, his blood sugar plummeted. But I was with great friends, so I was able to overlook a lot.
The waiter, Michael, insisted that we leave a 20% tip, but since the percentage wasn’t listed on the receipt, we initially left a lower amount. He then returned the receipt so we could adjust the tip. I always thought tips were earned, not demanded. The food was decent, parking was difficult, but the overall atmosphere was fine.
