My family and I were in town for a quick vacation and selected this place specifically because we love barbecue and Texas Jack's came highly recommended. We made reservations because we knew we would be tired after the long drive into town. The staff actually called ahead of our arrival to warn us that 2 tour busses were just pulling in and we'd be sat in the bar area (totally fine for us) and we were impressed that they actually reached out to let us know. Awesome communication!...
Excellent BBQ! Ribs, brisket, brussel sprouts, esquite Mexican corn, burnt ends appetizer, they're all amazing. Lots of good BBQ in the DC area but few stand out, Texas Jacks is exceptional. I'm used to the best BBQ being served at small hole in the wall joints but this place has a great decor/atmosphere and shockingly great food. Quick too, food arrived quickly after ordering. Just wish they were on DoorDash for delivery in my Alexandria area.
We held our daughter’s Bridal Shower in their private back room and we couldn’t have been happier! The staff was very attentive and helpful, especially Brenda and Edwin, the food was delicious and having flat screen TVs to post some of our daughter’s photos was great! Thanks so much!
