Just had a great lunch where we sat outside on the patio and had to order via QR code. Included in the notes about an allergy and they came out to tell us that one of the items we ordered couldn't be made without my allergy and there was still a chance of cross contamination. They removed the item and insisted on finding an acceptable substitute I could eat avoiding my allergies. I assume the gentleman who came out to speak with us was a manager, who understood allergies very well in party because he had a peanut allergy. Then after a great meal we left a hat and when I went back to get it, the same gentleman was RUNNING across the street to bring me the hat. That's incredible service and such care for those with allergies. I seldom feel safe eating out with my allergies and this place really put me at ease!

I come here every few months for a meeting in the evenings on Thursday nights. The place is always packed! It's pretty, loud so it could be difficult to have a casual conversation without having to yell! The only thing that I've ever gotten there to eat is the Nacho appetizer and it is really really good.

Probably the best bar in ballston. Good vibes and great old bay wings (extra crispy). Service is always good and fun live music most nights

I've generally always liked Bronson bierhall. They have good beer! And variety! And pretzels! But last night I visited and the dog friendly atmosphere was unacceptable. There was a dog on the table the entire time I was there, not to mention the patron who felt so comfortable as to let his pit bull off leash in the outside seating area on a busy night. Not only is this gross and unsanitary, it's against VA health and safety code. I love dogs, but not like that.

Bronson is a Ballston staple— and a staple for corporate happy hours! So come early if you want a seat, and beware the sections crowded off for the corporate fun events that will undoubtedly take several tables

A staple of the area as far as affordable drinks and free live music. Bar food is better than average and there is usually plenty of seating. Can get very loud even when there isn't live music but they have an outdoor patio too.

Service does not exist. it's one thing to order everything in app, but they never check in on you and were downright rude when we had the nerve to ask for anything. MANAGEMENT the staff needs some training!

Really good beer and food. only downside is you have to order everything individually, you can't run a tab.

Bartender served my beer in a 100 degree mug and told me that it was due to them being busy. Lazy bartender who could not grab one of the 50 mugs that didn't just come out of the dishwasher is mor like it.

Great place, but can get really loud inside when busy. Hard to hold a conversation while seated at a table. Food is amazing. Service is very prompt.

This place seems to be a major event place in the area. When I visited, there were three while sections reserved for 3 decent sized parties.
The food looks and tastes great and a lot of it seems to be designed for group eating, which is fantastic since that's what it appears to cater to, from my brief visit.

Brunson Beerhall really delivered if the goal was to remind me why some places just don’t deserve your time or money. I was kicked out for gasp disagreeing with the manager. Apparently, having a different opinion is now grounds for removal. Good to know!
The manager handled things with all the grace of a YouTube comment section zero professionalism, all ego. If you’re into power trips and being treated like an inconvenience for existing, this might be your spot.
Otherwise, save yourself the headache. Plenty of better-run places nearby that actually understand hospitality isn’t a one sided performance.
