A friend suggested Bronson Bierhall on a whim, and I’m so glad he did. The moment you walk in, the long communal tables and lively chatter transport you straight to a warm, German-style beer hall—only here you get 16 taps of crisp, well-poured brews, ranging from traditional German lagers to local Virginia craft beers.
I grabbed the giant Munich pretzel with tangy beer cheese and mustard—comfort food at its best—and washed it down with a smooth Paulaner Helles. Our server was not very attentive due to the crowd. Overall, Bronson Bierhall feels like a friendly gathering spot more than just a restaurant. The blend of hearty German-American classics, solid beer selection, and cheerful atmosphere make it recommend for anyone craving big flavors and big fun in Arlington!
Great atmosphere
Decent, nice beer selection.
Great service! Food came quickly, and drinks seemed like they were in our hands as soon as we ordered! Good place for groups and happy hours!

Bronsons is a good environment the bartenders, the managers and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Gamedays there are a lot of fun. They have inside and outside seating. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

The MAC pretzel was HUGE! If you like pizza, order this.
This place is so unique and busy! So many people kept showing up but there is a lot of seating inside and out. The portions are huge so we will have to come back to try something different.

The place was crowded so my family expected a great dining experience which should include great food, great staff and great atmosphere.
Well it delivered on one out of the three. The staff arrived to deliver the Ala cart type food and vanished into the crowd to never return again. The restaurant makes people pay and tip via QR code upfront so there’s no incentive to actually “wait” on anyone as the transaction is already closed before you actually dip your fork into the food. THE schnitzel dish and Krout was pretty gross and the chicken tenders was meh at best (schnitzel fingers lol what a joke) . The side items of the potato salad and Mac and cheese was descent.
All in all it’s a bar environment with a light touch of German influence foods. Nothing actually tastes authentic and albeit the atmosphere is pretty cool (live music and lively environment); it has very little to offer as far as a German inspired architecture or decor.
So if you want beer, burgers, pretzel or simple items with a descent viewing and live music then this is your place but do not come here for an actual dining experience because the food is rushed and mediocre.

Food and wait staff are phenomenal. Management definitely needs training. Was there today to watch a game with friends. Place was packed which is to be expected. If you've never been, most of the tables are large picnic tables that seat 10-12 folks. Usually parties share tables. There was a table with a sign that said reserved for 1230 that was not full. It was after 1 pm and we asked the party of three or four who were sitting there if we could sit with them and they said yes, the previous reservation did not show and since 30 mins had passed the table was fair game. I was there the previous week and someone on staff had given us a table after someone else did not show up for a reservation past 30 mins so this seemed run of the mill policy. A total of 7 or 8 people at the table now. Fast forward another 30 minutes - the "manager" storms up to us and tells us we have to get up because the reservation (party of 4) had now arrived (in total an hour late at this point). We had our food and drink already in front of us and we were flabbergasted he was asking us to get up when the table at this point was filled with people that had already ordered and were well into their meals. I asked where he expected us to go and he kept aggressively saying, "I don't care, just get up. I'm the manager and you have to listen." We were all stunned that he was asking us to get up in the middle of our meal for people who were a full hour late while we were literally in the middle of eating, and the restaurant was packed with nowhere else for us to sit. The late folks said it was ok for us all to share the table so we ended up not having to move thankfully because it would have been impossible between all the food and drinks already at the table, considering how packed the place was. Completely unprofessional on managements part to 1. Not stick to their own policy, 2. To approach customers in this manner and 3. Not offer solutions or concessions - there was literally enough space at the table for this not to have been an issue. I know this because we all ultimately shared the table. I've never heard of any restaurant holding a table as massive as the one that we had for a whole hour for no-shows. When there were a ton of customers present who could use that seating. This managers behavior and mindset is bad for business on multiple levels.

Overrated restaurant. I was looking forward to the food based on the reviews. However, it was very disappointing. The sausages were dry and did. It taste fresh. The potato salad was decent but nothing special. The pretzel and beer were the best items. If you’re looking for German food, go somewhere else.

Steer clear of the Al Pastor pizza. To quote the great Kevin Malone: "a hot circle of garbage" Even Pizza by Alfredo's could top this one. Not sure if it's a quality of ingredients issue or what but the pizza is just super tasteless. Hated it.
