The food is as expected for a bar, good, and it did come out quickly. If you order the salmon for the salad keep in mind it’s tiny so consider ordering 2 orders. The main problem is there is no table service. You order through the QR code, pay and tip up front, and there’s no one to ask questions about the menu or drinks, unless you’re sitting at the bar I guess. Not sure what the tip is for since there’s no service provided other than bringing...

Good place overall but they do run the risk of simply being a pub/college bar vs actually being a Beirhall. The food menu needs to incorporate more German elements and considerably more seating is required to capture the bierhall theme. Too much of the business is a standing bar. Now to be clear thats fine and I'll still go but there is a big difference between a true bierhall and a Balston yuppy bar.

Standard beer hall with an outdoor area. The food we had was great - buffalo chix dip, sausages, and giant pretzel. All were really solid. Had great beers on tap and in cans (Heady Topper yay), with decent prices for Arlington. They had a guy playing millennial bangers on guitar, which was a nice touch. Mostly genz and millennials. Nice time.
