The Portofino Restaurant is an old-school, quaint Italian eatery that offers a warm welcome. The staff are polite and attentive, providing excellent service. The menu features a variety of classic Italian dishes, including the eggplant with great sauce and the Chicken Pilar (Piccata) Ole. The osso bucco is also a standout. The limoncello is a delightful digestif. The Portofino Restaurant offers delicious hand made pastas and many daily specials, with a great wine list. Servers are outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly. Chef Richard often greets you at the door. It is a cozy and phenomenal gem with superb food. The traditional baked lasagna was fresh and the sauce was on point. Their hand crafted cocktail menu had something for everyone. The owner is very friendly, proud of the family establishment. Everything was excellent; as an eatery they were well established and produced their own foods and service. You saw teamwork and well made food, plus the food was very well compared to food from Italy. The veal parm was decent. The food was pretty good thankfully, even if they didn't have something exactly how you wanted it, they were willing to work with you to make it right. The vanilla creme brûlée and a limoncello dessert were both wonderful.
