This is really disappointing that this is the second time we had a bad experience at True Food Kitchen since we do love food here. But the service really needed to be improved, like seriously! First experience was also service issues. Wait staff really needs to write down the order, don't just try to remember. Our server forgot one of our alcohol drinks and the appetizer leading to a 45min wait for our food (we had to ask for re-checking). Entrees arrived before the appetizer, and I could tell our entrees had been sitting waiting in the kitchen for awhile. It was july 4th night and there were like 5 tables total), not busy at all.

I love brunch here. We went towards the end of brunch and so not crowded. Food was generous and excellent and because there were not a lot of people there, my friend who is hearing impaired, could easily hear me. Not rushed at all and we could relax and visit.

Consistently good food. Surprised by super slow service during workday lunch. Server not attentive and spent more time talking with bartender and looking at phone than ensuring guests had what they needed.

We had a business lunch. Our table for 6 was ready when we arrived. The waitress was amazing. She was very knowledgeable. Our food was amazing. Thanks True Food Kitchen!!!

Only my third time dining here, but first time with a group and on this particular occasion (my mom's birthday), everything was excellent. Fresh and tasty food, attentive service, and great vibes.

The environment was comfortable and had a swanky modern feel, very well decorated. The servers were relaxed, attentive, and very friendly. We chose this place because of the high-quality ingredients, organic when it matters, and NO seed oils—EVER! We went on Mother's Day during brunch and were very pleased with the selections. It was nice to see the kitchen prep area through the large glass wall, as we could see that the chef's staff showed great care and excitement in preparing the meals. I ordered Rancher's Hash, and it did not disappoint. I requested my eggs over medium, and they were cooked to perfection, and the entire meal came out hot. The combination of flavor profiles this dish offered surprised and delighted my palate. The food was delicious! My husband ordered the Korean Noodle Bowl with Blackened Shrimp. It was equally amazing! I'm happy he let me taste his dish, because I look forward to ordering in the future, on one of my carb-load days. But then again, everything on the menu looked so good, we'll have to come back often to try it all. The quality of the ingredients, the level of care in its preparation and presentation, and health benefits make this an ideal establishment for the discriminating health-conscious eater; a real health-foodie's paradise. Ada was our server; friendly, responsive, and very patient. Her recommendations were great, and she encouraged us to try some new options. Ada has a great sense of humor and kindness that made us feel comfortable, respected, and welcomed. We enjoyed our experience with her, and our tip reflected it. The restaurant, kitchen, and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. You could tell the employees take pride in the place. When we eat out, we look for high-quality food, good value, and exceptional service. This restaurant met all those criteria. The price was reasonable and well worth every dollar spent. We were so impressed that we will return to try more options. I think I found ‘my place'.

First time at this restaurant. Service was prompt which was good especially since it was not very crowded. The pizza was very good - nice sauce and a fresh taste. The edamame dumplings were odd. Nice texture to the dumpling but the filling was mushy and had an odd/unusual taste. Would not order those again.

Mercedes was awesome! Her recommendations were excellent. She took care of a party of six with grace. The smoked old fashioned was delicious. The lasagna was marvelous. We also had two gluten free guests that were able to choose from many options. We were all happy and will we return.

It was fine. Pretty good value the money. Pole bowl was good. And Asian bowl. Pasta was just ok. Salmon was done well and pesto pasta was good. Cauliflower and Brussels sprout apps were very good.

We sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather on the patio. The wait staff was polite and attentive. A few people in our party have a gluten allergy and there were lots of options they could choose from. The food was good and the experience was great.

Opentable Diner

Service on the patio is pretty lacking. Napkins blowing about on the ground. No water refills. Long gaps with no check-in.

We made a trip to Arlington for a pizza deal on Pi Day. The pizza was good but not worth traveling for without a deal. The Brussels sprouts and squash soup were good, though the soup was not brought until after several other things. We received a more elaborate salad than we ordered and the waiter took it off the bill although we offered to pay for the one we ordered. The wines were good.

Great salad options. Turkey burger and the salmon were a big hit with our visiting friends. Fairly busy for a Monday night but service didn't suffer.

GirlyBrunch

I recently had the pleasure of brunching at True Food Kitchen, and it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of healthy and flavorful options. The coffee was rich and aromatic, and the natural juice was refreshing and invigorating. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. Overall, True Food Kitchen is a fantastic spot for brunch, offering a great combination of tasty food, excellent beverages, and outstanding service. Easy parking at the Ballson mall. Highly recommended!
