Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

I have been buying the buttermilk berry cornbread such a unique flavor. It’s so good. I’m so addicted to it. I’ve never tasted such a grape flavor in ice cream ever.

Terrible business ethics and customer service practices. Avoid this company. They will not make things right when THEY screw up. They will lie, cheat, and even evade customers to avoid taking any sort of responsibility. Shame on them.

These people are liars and thieves. I ordered 6 pints of cream and received a carton with a hole in it, filled with white, puss-like mold in it, and empty ice cream containers. {SEE PICS!!!!!!} I paid $71 for it and they told my credit card company that sent me what I ordered. BTW, the credit card company is Capital One, so if you're with them, watch out, they seem to AUTOMATICALLY side with the merchant, which is why they're being added the the lawsuit.) (My lawyers say they might be able to be added added to the criminal complaint for shipping toxic mold.) I don't remember ordering white puss-like hairy, growing mold. Perhaps the original sin was not theirs but UPS's, but the law in all fifty states says that if the VENDOR CHOSES THE DELIVERY AGENT, then the vendor is responsible for the delivery. VanLeeuwen seems to think that by failing to respond to all my emails, hanging up on me when I call, and lying to the credit card company ("He got what he ordered") they can keep the stupid $71 for the six pints of ice cream that never arrived (with puss-like mold replaced them.) I'll spend 100 times that to ruin their reputation. I hope my 16K Social Media Fans (@followers) understand that buying ANYTHING from Van Leeuwen is something I'd rather you not do. Warmest to all except the brass at Van Leeuwen and Capital One. Avoid BOTH companies if possible.

Showed up here at 10pm looking for late night ice cream and the door was locked and closed even though it is supposed to be open until 12am

I just left this place and experienced the worst customer service ever. Didn’t feel welcomed or appreciated. Felt more like an inconvenience to the worker. He handed my ice cream and told me the price then walked off. He walked towards the back of the store without making sure I paid. Clearly whatever he had going on in the back was more important.

Good ice cream with great vegan options and a super friendly staff. Had interactions with Mira who was super helpful in guiding me to exactly what I wanted, and who seemed to understand the menu on a deep level. Cannot thank her enough for making a small part of my day so nice.

Location is good, parlor clean, and options plentiful. Recommended!

So yummy. I have purchased the vegan strawberry shortcake ice cream in a sugar cone twice. It's creamy with tart strawberry & pieces of graham cracker crust. A bit pricey, but I think of it as a once in a while treat.

Yum! Stopped by on a 5K walk on a beautiful Monday afternoon. I’m so grateful there are vegan flavors—lactose intolerants rejoice! I got 2 scoops— peanut butter cookie honeycomb and strawberry shortcake. I’d come again ?

Stopped in on Labor Day afternoon. The ice cream was so good. Got the vegan strawberry shortcake and peanut butter honeycomb. Both were delicious. Got to try a bunch of flavors too beforehand so we could ensure we got the best flavors.

I stopped here with my niece and sister after dinner which we all probably should have not. But, who can refuse eating ice cream. In addition, I had never tasted this brand before. No, I'm not in the dark ages. ?
However, I'm now enlightened to the brand now. ?
Nevertheless, I decided on trying something from the vegan ice cream selection which is totally untypical for me. I was surprised with how yummy, smooth, and incredibly flavorful it was.
All the staff were so helpful and encouraged sampling of the different flavors of interest.
So, I sought to broaden my taste palate and I had the Banana Bread Pudding W/ Fudge. It brought back to when my mother used to cook banana bread pudding in my younger days.
If you're in the area please stop by; it's worth the trip.
