Glad Westville decided to open up a location in Virginia, and what better than Clarendon! Similar to the New York locations, everything tastes healthy-ish and homemade, but maybe better than most city dwellers could do at home. Also an easy venue if you’re dining in a big group with pick eaters - lots of protein and veggie options, and super friendly to allergies and dietary restrictions.
Personal favorite was the fish sandwich. Veggie sides are all good and taste healthy (no heavy feeling that I get sometimes from veggie sides at restaurants - maybe they use a healthier oil or fewer additives). Carrot cake was flavorful and had a great texture, and love that it looked homemade as well.
Interior feels like an old school diner, and is super clean. Outdoor patio looks like a great place to enjoy an aperol spritz during the summer.

We had a fantastic experience at Westville. We went the first weekend they were open, and the restaurant had such great energy. The music was great, the vibe was chill but happy, and the veggies were outstanding. We started our table off with the truffle fries and the kale salad, both of which were home runs. I’ve had both dishes at another Westville in NYC (Hudson), and they were as good as I remembered! The truffle fries were hot and crispy and full of truffle flavor. The kale salad was huge and super fresh and flavorful with lots of fun toppings. I was there with my son, who had the burger and truffle fries, and he enjoyed it. He had their strawberry lemonade, which was super fresh and hit the spot. For my entree I had the market plate with Brussels, cauliflower, green beans, and pesto mashed potatoes. Ok, those potatoes were a revelation. I hadn’t had them before now, and I will definitely be ordering the next time I go! The Brussels, cauliflower, and green beans were SO fresh and topped with these flavorful sauces. I washed them down with a Moscow Mule, which was super limey and refreshing. The thing I love about these Westville restaurants (aside from the food) is that you can really tell they care about the customer and everybody just seems content to be there. They were slammed that night but our food came out quickly and I never sensed an ounce of stress from our server. Just a good dining experience. I am so excited we have one in our neck of the woods now!

My husband, young baby and I went for the soft opening and loved it! This place has healthy, flavorful, REAL food and fun drinks. Staff was accommodating and seated us at a table where we could park the stroller out of the way. Friendly service and great menu offerings—we loved the food!! To start, we got the spinach artichoke dip—very flavorful and cheesy and shared a kale salad, which was huge and had a delicious dressing and just the right ratio of toppings. My husband ordered a sirloin steak platter and I got a daily special, half mojo chicken. I got a mocktail and my husband got a couple special drinks. He really liked the margarita. We split carrot cake for dessert and ate every last bite. I took home some chicken and they were kind enough to box it up nicely for me. 10/10 recommend, I’m already making plans to go back for a birthday lunch!

I'm delighted to have a Westville in the DC metro area as it is my go to spot in Brooklyn. I literally eat here for the GF carrot cake (love love), veggies and health tea so I can't rate too many dishes. I love the simple whole foods menu with fewer ingredients since I have many food intolerances. My experience on Wednesday was great, especially for week 1 in Clarendon. We had to sit at the bar to avoid a wait an the bar staff was attentive and friendly. I'll be a regular in Clarendon.
Highly recommend the pesto mashed potatoes. Also the cocktails were delicious. Most of the food was simple but well prepared.

The menu is packed with high-quality proteins, vibrant veggies, and real, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. you can taste the care and freshness in every bite. Even our picky teenagers were thrilled, which is saying something!
Our experience was made even better by our amazing waitress, Natasha, who came from their New York location. She was incredibly attentive, genuinely fun, and offered fantastic recommendations that we loved.
We appreciate that Westville invited the community in with a soft opening and a reservation system. it really shows their commitment to becoming a vibrant part of the Clarendon scene. The location couldn’t be more ideal: right near gyms, grocery stores, and great shopping. It’s the kind of spot that fits right into an active, local lifestyle.
Oh, and the drinks! Their cocktails and mocktails were perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, just fresh and flavorful with natural ingredients. A huge win for those who like a cleaner sip!
