We had a wonderful dining experience at Rupa Vira and subsequently asked them to cater a wedding celebration at our home. The quality of the food and the service provided by the staff on site was outstanding. We -- and the guests -- had a great experience.

We went to Celebration by Rupa Vira for the Memorial Day lunch buffet and overall had a renice experience.
The place looks beautiful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We were seated right away and went straight for the buffet. All four of us are vegetarians, so we focused on the vegetarian options.
Started with the appetizers, which included the usual Gujarati items, North Indian chaats, and similar dishes. Everything was pretty decent and enjoyable.
The fresh naan served at the table was definitely a highlight. All three types of naan were excellent, and straight from the oven.
The vegetarian curries were good as well, and the desserts were decent too, though,I prefer the serving size of parfait type dish was a bit bigger that the tiny sized containers.
I just wished they were little bit more vegetarian options ,especially with rice items.
Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed the meal. Would I be craving to go back immediately? Maybe not right away, but it was still a pleasant buffet experience and worth trying.

I’ve been to The Signature and have ordered catering from Rupa Vira a few times as well. It’s always been amazing quality food.

This was my first time at Celebration (for their Sunday Brunch buffet), and I wanted to give a special shout out for the amazing service we received. Buffets are typically hit or miss with table service, but the staff here was attentive and made my sister’s birthday celebration extra special. And the food was the same great quality I’ve loved. Bonus was the live chat station and soooo many options, both veg and non veg! So fun - great food, amazing staff!

Buffet style. Limited selection, very spicy. What they do not mention is the 20% surcharge which means I will not return.

Ate Sunday brunch of appetizers, vegetarian ans meat entrees like chicken. Food was medium spicy and delicious. Had three desserts with moong dal have an and gulab Jamin along with small cup of dessert. Fresh naan or roti were served.

Dosa station to make fresh dosa with vegetarian and cheese with spices. Loved it.

Will definitely come again.

Consistently excellent food that’s always better than the competition. Professional and friendly service as well. We often order carry out and the food is always ready on time.

The food is good but the it feels a little overpriced for what they have. Not sure if adding 20% service charge by default on a $25 buffet is too presumptuous. Cost of one masala tea was $6 (including service charge).

I went there for the Valentines special.
I got really disappointed with the food quality. It was extremely sub-standard with fancy plating.

The soup was very basic. Even soup at Panera bread would be better than that.

The chutney uses in the chaat were of Swad from Patel brothers.

The kachumbar was very basic with just chopped fruits.

The regular menu is much better than this special menu.

I have been to this place before and can definitely say that the regular menu is better than the valentine special menu.

Did not expect this from this restaurant.

I would give 0 starts if I could.

We had an amazing experience at Rupa Vira. We ordered two Gujarati thalis along with Khandvi. While we were a little disappointed that the khandvi was sweet, the thali itself was excellent. It included 4–5 puris, puran poli, three sabzis (undhiyu, mixed kathol, and tindola), three farsans (misal, khaman, and dahi vada), desserts like shrikhand and kheer, along with kadhi, rice, papad, and pickle. Everything tasted great and had an authentic Gujarati flavor.

Went for the first time during Washington Restaurant Week. I had the prix fixe menu. Very good. I will definitely go back and try items from their regular menu. Nice ambiance and very pleasant server.
