Amazing service that goes above and beyond, perfect and ideal for dates and anniversaries and business meetings. The ambiance above and beyond as well as the service. Mr. Josh Hut does a wonderful job managing this place.

Let me count the ways!! When I have come here in the past, it has been a wonderful experience. Couldn't have been more disappointed. A group of six of us planned to meet at the bar for happy hour waiting to surprise one's daughter who was celebrating a birthday next door. So--new to me--bar high top tables are reserved now? Even during HH though half sit empty. Ok. Fine. Three of us sit/stand at two empty seats at bar. Two friends arrived after I'd been there 8-10 minutes (without a greeting asking if anyone had been over yet). 6-7 minutes later we are asked if we are doing ok. NOTHING was in front of us. No menu. No drink. I told the bartender this was our first time being greeted in 15 minutes and his reply was unapologetically "well the bar is busy." Needless to say, we got up and left. No basic courtesies. No "don't worry. I've got you.". This is a high end restaurant? Not so much. Can't tell you how disappointing this was--Used to love this place. The hostess (who seemed to be the head) was also not very friendly but I'm still too stressed to go into that experience. -1

Eddie Merlots Ashburn tries quite hard to make a good meal however somehow the meal is just not there. The steaks though aged seemed a bit dry and my mothers was over cooked per instructions given at the table. Our salads were very good. Even with store bought steak we make a better steak at home. Not sure if we will return.

Eddie Merlot's Steakhouse in Ashburn offers a nice array of culinary delights amidst a beautifully adorned ambience. The Hot Appetizer Platter featuring Barbecue Shrimp?, Maryland Crab? cakes, and Filet Mignon pot stickers, was an absolute standout! Each bite was a symphony of flavors perfectly complementing one another. Even though the French onion soup leaned towards the sweeter side, it's rich depth of flavor still delighted the palette. The Hamburger ?, crafted from a blend of two distinct beef varieties, paired flawlessly with the spectacular crisp fries. However, the service left something to be desired. The bartender seemed disinterested and lacked attentiveness. Despite inquiring about the onion soup which was meant to proceed the meal, it was dismissed without much acknowledgment. Nevertheless, the drinks were well crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The atmosphere was enchanting, with delightful music and exquisite decor setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. Despite the minor hiccup in service, the exceptional quality of the cuisine ensures my return to Eddie Merlot's. The food truly transcended expectations and left an indelible mark, making it a destination worth revisiting.

We were so excited to have a birthday celebration for our 18 yr old. A milestone birthday for sure. He picked Eddie Merlot after much research so we were ready for a great experience. Unfortunately it was one of the worst. The lack of service started when we first were seated. We waited a while for our server even though the restaurant was pretty empty. We had 4 appetizers that were anything but appetizing. We moved on to very expensive tasteless steaks with even worse sides. No flavor. We left hungry and out of pocket >$500. Would have a better experience and food at Outback.

Folks I am truly struggling at how to approach this experience with also attempting to give my 18 year old son a wonderful culinary experience on his 18th birthday I got to to tell you that it is shameful to have such brands out there that reflect and advertise the upmost culinary experience with numerous $$$$$$$$ signs but the execution and product delivered end up sooooooo below average !!!!!! From start Had to get up and prompt a passing by waiter for attention as the wait for anyone to check in and take a drink order should be the expectation Then the red wine ordered was out of stock while being suggested a totally different red for an additional 15$$ Then come the appetizers Beef carpaccio lacking lemon, olive oil and true Parmesan and or Pecorino Romano then get this ; served with potato chips wow the nerves.... Fried tenderloin pot stickers squirted with a horrible sweet and non spicy Asian sauce which seemed to be delivered by some broad line distributor as a ready to fry frozen appetizer Oyster Rockefeller tasted descent but lacked lemon wedges Then came the Wagyu meatballs which, in all honesty looked like two Angelina frozen meatballs from Harris Teeter licked with a bland tomato concoction and a sprinkle of this concrete textured like Parmesan shredded cheese As we all disputed the idea of settling the bill at that moment and possibly walking across the street to a Matchbox to enjoy a burger and or Pizza and wings; for the sake of our 18 year old's request to proceed with ordering dinner we decided on the veal porterhouse medium but served mw , a 12oz prime strip and the 16oz prime strip with truffle French fries (frozen fry sprayed with Home goods truffle oil .... ) This is enough reality !!!! However a 595 dollar bill for a party of 3 with this level of meciocracy should be made aware to all; as no one should be coerced in that level of expense with such a IHOP level of delivery and experience Sorry for being so direct but this was truly the experience we just went through Thanks for reading !!!!!

We had the most spectacular night at Eddie Merlot in Ashburn. The food was delicious and the wine was amazing. Great atmosphere and awesome service that we received from Jade. She is the best!! Thank you Patrick the General Manager and Jade for making our 30th wedding anniversary special. The roses and card made the evening so memorable. Thank you again!

I was here for a work program. We were seated in a private room with a projector set up. After the start of our presentation, the servers brought in trays of appetizers and arranged them on a table in the back of the room. Then the servers moved through the room to take our food orders. We sat through the entire presentation without being served anything. After an hour, when the speaker was done, we were instructed to go by the appetizer tables buffet-style. The apps were cold at this point. Then they started bringing in the salads and entrées. We had all worked all day and have always received our meals during the program, to eat while we listened. This set up made for an extremely long day. We were all very hungry and tired by the time we got to eat. This was poor planning on the part of the restaurant I've never attended a program where the food was served in this manner.

Came in for dinner on a weekday and had a good experience. The place was not very loud, and we could carry on a conversation without raising our voices. Got crabcakes as a starter and they were decent but not great. I got the blackened salmon for my main course meal and my buddy got the steak and they were both very good. We also got the baked sweet potatoes as a side dish and those were on the very sweeter side but tasty, the service was good, prompt, and friendly.

This is our second time here for dinner in the past two years and unfortunately have come away less than thrilled about the steaks. The service is great and the atmosphere is upscale and elegant but the steaks have been a big disappointment on both visits. On both visits they’ve come above the cooking temp requested and both times the steaks have not been seasoned enough. When you are paying over 60-70 dollars per steak you shouldn’t have to add alot of salt and pepper to your steak. The steaks were borderline bland. In the multitude of times visiting Ruth Chris or DC Prime I’ve never had to add seasoning because of the lack of flavor to a steak.Dietary restrictions: Certain dishes can be modified for gluten free allergies.
