Lakshmi Chowk Kabob & Karahi

I drove from Richmond to try Lakshmi Chock after seeing them on Instagram, and it truly felt like a little piece of Lahore. We ordered the family BBQ platter, and the flavors instantly reminded me of eating on the streets of Lahore — smoky, fresh, and nostalgic. The chanas were warm and homely, and the karahi was delicious too. The staff, including the owner, were so sweet and welcoming — exactly that classic Lahori hospitality where everyone treats you like you’re already part of the family (in the most wholesome way). And as a big naan lover, the sesame naan (roghni naan) was my favorite soft, warm, and perfect.If you miss Lahore, this place definitely brings back the memories.

I highly recommend this place! I had the Chicken Tikka, naan and chickpea masala. It was incredible. The best I have ever had. The flavor of the chicken was balanced with a little bit of spice, but also a nice smoky taste. The chickpea masala was probably my favorite thing to eat. It came with the naan. They were attentive but allowed us to enjoy our meal. They provided a pitcher of water on the table since we were only drinking it with our dinner. They offered desert at the end, but we were full. The price was fair for the amount of food you received.

I have never never had this kind of experience at any of the local restaurants in DMV area. They all claim to be but no one has reached out to the level this restaurant is @. We had beef nihari with sesame naans, chicken peas and halwa puri. This is my new spot. Can’t wait to come back and try their kabobs.

Absolutely bad and horrendous Biryani!!!!

I told my coworkers about this place today and how much I like the food here. We all ordered biryani for lunch today and it was so bad that I couldn't eat more than three spoons of it.
It tasted burned, very strong spices smell, something was very off in the taste.

Everyone in the office agreed that we are not going to order food from this place any more.

We visited Lakshmi Chown and had an amazing experience! We ordered the Goat Karahi, Chicken Karahi, and a BBQ Platter — everything was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic flavor. The food was fresh, juicy, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was great too. Definitely one of the best places for desi food — highly recommended for anyone who loves real taste and quality!

Food was not great. For the same price you can go somewhere else and enjoy a much better meals do not recommend this place plus they add gratuity without asking or telling you.

Lamb and Chicken kebabs were terrific!

Went for breakfast, and got the Beef Nihari, Paya, and Halwa puri, all were fresh, flavorful and yummy. Food came pretty fast and warm which was great. Atmosphere was pretty good too. Bathrooms are very clean, and there is also a Prayer and Wudhu area too. Staff were very friendly, giving us everything we need, as well as complimentary chai which was a great gesture. Would definitely recommend.

I have been there couple of time with my wife food was good enough to eat but I notice one of the person serving the order never interact me very poor customer service he keep talking to my wife and make their restaurant image very poor I came all the way from Warrenton VA to have a lunch They should treat customer with happy mood and always remember customer service should be friendly and professionally every thing was good except customer service
