The food in this restaurant is just nothing but a scoop of chili paste and nothing else. We used to eat a lot earlier and now a days the is no other flavor but just chilies.when asked about it, the only reply you will get is it’s all good as they have tasted before packing. This has happened many times over and over again, it’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t waste time going there anymore. Even the attitude of people totally sucks including the management who doesn’t have a clue how to speak to customers.

They food quality is not what it used to be and the customer service is the worst I have seen.. This restaurant is no longer worth it and there are plenty of better new options for Indian food. They are also quick to ask you to leave even if you have been there barely for an hour and will give you an attitude if you don't order a lot of food.

We invited some guests to join us for dinner from MD last night at Rupa Vira . We called to make reservations and the lady on the phone barely spoke in an audible tone and was not comfortable talking in English. We were told that reservations cannot be made and it’s busy so come in right away if we want. So we got there 30 min before our guests to ensure a spot . The restaurant was fairly busy and had 4 tables with a reserved sign. After much confusion among the 5 or 6 waiting staff we were given a spot near the door. It was cold w a draft every time someone entered the restaurant. I asked a male server if there is any way we can move he said no those tables have already been reserved . 10 min later a man walked in with 5 other people . I heard him Tell the waitress he does not have a reservation the lady told him to wait a minute then proceeded to take 2 of the reserved tables and put them together in a warm spot in the restaurant. I called the man who I spoke to earlier and asked him how they are sitting there and I heard that they do NOT have reservations. He then went to speak to another woman who gave us many looks then showed attitude and moved our table to a position that was not facing the door . The night went downhill from there. The service was sub par the food came at all different times and 40 min late. No one refilled our water glasses , when we asked for boxes for 5 people the waitress brought one then we asked again then she brought another one then finally I counted it out and said we have 5 people and we need 1,2,3 more boxes . She then went over to her group of waitresses and started to say something as they all kept looking at us . It was a disastrous evening and I was so embarrassed by this restaurant and sorry my friends drove 1 hr 20 min to eat here with this horrible service. The absolute worst was when they added gratuity to parties of 5 or more . Who are they to add a gratuity for horrible service ??! Is this why the staff was rude and incompetent? Anyway this restaurant is definitely in need of new management and the staff needs to learn how to treat customers . If I treated anyone like this at my work I withdraw have a job. Don’t waste your money I recommend going where your business is appreciated. We all work hard for the money we spend, so why waste it where you are treated like they are doing you a favor bringing your meal one by one 40 min late .

Five of us went for Father’s Day. First what they serve as Father’s Day special was same thing as Thali they have (actually in thali you can choose where as Father’s Day was fixed. ) they charged $25 extra for it. Second for 5, they charged 18% service charge and there was no service. Most restaurants it is 6 and over. Total bill for lunch was $160 (it is not fancy restaurant by any stretch). Food is generally ok ( Father’s Day was bad). I recommend only takeout.

We ordered vegetarian food from this place. Food tasted excellent and very well prepared. Portion size are small and average prices are higher in comparison to other Indian restaurants in the area..

I bought takeout food for first and last time last night. The Mixed Vegetable curry was nothing but 90% potatoes and a few green beans and carrots. The Eggplant curry had undercooked onions embedded in the curry. Portions were small for the price paid. Medium curry should not be bland. I also bought two sambosas as well. At $5 for two small sambosas is a rip off. Rather go to Patels a buy them for dollar each.

Rupa Vira Catering catered our recent wedding and they did not disappoint! They served a pre-ceremony drink and appetizer, appetizers for cocktail hour, and dinner during our event. We love that they offer great menu options and were particularly delighted about the Gujarati items. Our contact, Sheila Desai, was very easy to work with during the entire planning process. All of their food was absolutely delicious and we received numerous compliments from guests.
