We’ve been coming to restaurant for five years and it looks like their management changed, and the chef may also have been changed. The food quality has gone down the hill few of the items that we ordered lacked flavor. We had to constantly ask to see if they could at least provide salt to add some flour to food, but I must admit the service is excellent here. Customer skills are outstanding. Saffron Indian Restaurant in Ashburn, VA is a standout. Having dined at various locations in Sterling and McLean, I can confidently say Saffron surpasses them all. The sauces are exceptional, rich in flavor and authenticity. A must-visit for any Indian cuisine lover!
This restaurant has become one of my favorites in the Ashburn area. I have eaten there several times, and each meal has been outstanding. I love the atmosphere - calm, relaxing. The food is superb, especially the lamb shank. Service is great. The manager, Mahi, does a great job. I intend to come back many times.
