Had a great night at top golf with my boyfriend three weeks ago! First time at TopGolf and will most certainly be back had so much fun!

Top Golf Loudoun has been a favorite of mine for an extended time. I was actually at the soft opening many years ago. Recently when I go, I see the facility is in bad shape. Many portions of the turf are ripped up and missing. If your ball hits them, it bounces right, left, etc and unfortunately these destroyed parts of the turf are in front of targets. This is frustrating if you and your friends are being competitive, also it is a real eyesore. This particular visit I needed to use the restroom. The stalls were actually falling over. Meaning you could not use them if you wanted to close the door.
The mats you tee off from are constantly cockeyed or crooked also. Seems like you need to put some money back into this location.
The food and service are generally fine and the folks are very nice. My issue with the game play is that you pay for a set period of time and most want to actually use that time, as it is much more expensive than the typical driving range. When you have 15 minutes left, the ball dispenser stops dispensing balls, until you realize there is a prompt on the screen you have to acknowledge if you are going to extend or not. Why does it not make a chime sound or alert in some way, versus me looking like an idiot feverishly waving my club for a ball? Then if you select no and re-address your ball, you usually are interrupted again asking if you are going to extend by a staff member. I selected no 10 seconds ago, why are you interrupting me again? Then if you say no and I will be paying through the app, they seem confused, then interrupt you again to say the manager wants you to pay right now then. This most recent visit I had to ask the staff to please stop interrupting us, and allow us to just play our last 15 minutes. This was mid afternoon on a Wednesday. Not packed, no wait list etc. This has happened my last 4 visits. I enjoy the concept, I do not mind paying a bit extra to use the state of the art facility. Just let me get the time I pay for. Other smaller driving ranges have added things like ball tracking and stats, I am more inclined to go to those moving forward.

We love it here. We have been coming for years, and I figured I would just share some love. From get togethers with friends to bringing my daughter its been great. Highly recommend!

I’m really upset with how this was handled. I tried to book a 1-hour session at 7 PM but couldn’t, even though a 1.5-hour slot was available at the same time. I called and was told to just walk in. I showed up at 7, only to be told there was a 1.5-hour wait. Why tell people to walk in if you can’t accommodate them? Completely disappointing and a waste of my time.

We did not get greeted by a server for over an hour. By the time we finally did, we only had 20 minutes left in our game time. Very frustrating, as it was over 90° and we had to get our own drinks. Management that came over to speak to us about this was very understanding, but our waitress who initially did not greet us was not understanding unfortunately.
Nice facility with good food and decent prices overall. Night time is fun with everything lit up.
A horrible experience. From the moment we arrived, we said we were celebrating my son's birthday. In the end, I reminded the server that's what we were there for. What if he brought me the donuts and they sang Happy Birthday to my son? He said he'd add 15 minutes while they brought the donuts. I said yes. Time passed, and he never came back. Someone brought the donuts, left them there, and walked away. I was still waiting. Suddenly, a man came and grabbed everything off the table. My son was eating the donuts. He said he had to take everything because someone else was coming. My son just stood there watching. So I told him we were waiting. I explained what was going on. He still took everything but said he would call the manager. He showed up with the manager, just to tell me he was sorry, but we had to get out of the bay He kicked us out, leaving us wandering around near the bar with no idea where to go. We hadn't even received the check, and the manager, Dave, went to talk to the other employees like he didn't care about us. We were standing there, but we couldn't leave without paying. We called the manager again, Dave, and told him we had to pay, so he came and charged us. We felt ignored, and no one helped us.
Really disappointed with the customer service at this location.
We were located at a bay (already playing) when an employee came up to us and suggested we move to another bay that was available because she said it would be a better fit for our party. She said it was free, so we switched. It wasn’t until the game was over when another employee handed us the check where we realized our original deposit was not added to the total. We asked why and the new employee said that because we switched bays, the deposit was invalidated (so they just took the deposit).
This was never brought to our attention, so it was extremely messed up for them to pull a switch on us like that. They should have communicated that we would loss our deposit of $75, but they didn’t.
Additionally, the food was a hit or miss. Some things were okay but very cold and even the drinks were watered down.
Unfortunately not going back to this location. Instead go to the Topgolf at the National Harbor

Playing was fun, as always, but every other detail left MUCH to be desired. Scheduling was difficult as no one on site would answer our calls and essentially refused to speak to us upon arrival. We booked a bay online 24 hours before and requested the 3rd level, but when we arrived, we were told that wasn’t an option. Food was good although the order wasn’t accurate; warm, skunked beer was delivered twice, the bill was wrong, and all employees were encountered treated us as if we were bothering them. For the amount of money we spent, the customer service was beyond lacking.
