Such a hidden gem! The store is always so beautifully decorated inside and very clean. Such a relaxing environment. The employees are always super sweet. The drinks are so delicious as well!

Y-Tea is my wife's favorite boba spot in Ashburn, Virginia! As avid boba drinkers we usually fall into two craving categories: authentic and American classic. Y-Tea's taro milk tea quenched our hankering for some classic sugary tea with fresh bubbles. The flavor was incredibly rich, and it honestly tasted like a bowl of cereal with every sip. I'm not super into the boba pearls, but these were spot on. We got 50% sugar but any level is fine. Highly recommend whenever you're in Ashburn!

Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything other than a normal bubble tea. There is something about this place that tastes less artificial. The owner was polite and patient, and I like the option for choosing your sugar level. It was refreshing and delightful as all bubble teas should be and made my afternoon more enjoyable!

I checked out Y-Tea when they had their soft opening stage and had just opened up.The menu offers their specialty drinks (such as Vietnamese Sea Salt Coffee, Brulee Matcha Slush, Mango Pomelo Sago, etc.), as well as fresh fruit and milk teas, slushes, and fresh brew teas.I ordered the following to-go:+Pineapple Green Tea+Orange Green Tea+Watermelon Green Tea+Jasmine Milk Green Tea+Tiger Boba Milk Tea+Peach SlushThe fruit teas were a bit watered down, and they were definitely not from the ice, as I always request my drinks to be 'light ice/easy ice' - I just wished the tea were steeped longer. The slush was the preferred drink out of the order, as it was actually pretty tasty and refreshing.The interior was well-decorated but had limited seating. Just wow, the best boba place o have been in!!!!! I just move here and I was going out with my friends and they recommend this place. I am really happy that I found this place it is really nice, and delicious drinks. I am really happy! But not my wallet (jk)
If you're a boba fan...just go. It was a quiet and unique atmosphere. They had cool drinks ill have to go back and try. I love boba but I'll have to venture outside of that next time. I had to resist all the cute stuffies and earrings they had. Very laid back and super clean too.

TL;DR: super cute and family owned boba shop with fresh ingredients! And FREE drink on your birthday!The interior of this place is super open and has seating around the edges/walls. Their decor is adorable and the staff is so nice and friendly!I love supporting new and family owned small businesses, and was so happy with this place! The teas are all made fresh with fresh fruit (or other ingredients), and they even have their house-made fresh taro! WHAT WE GOT: ~Watermelon Jasmine Green Tea (5/5): Loved the fresh watermelon. I got 25% sweet, and honestly should have gotten at least 50% but now I know for next time. The boba was chewy and flavorful and just sweet enough. So good!~Oreo Brule matcha tea with fresh taro (5/5): My friend who has difficulty drinking drinks, KILLED this in like 5 minutes. That's how good it was..They have a lot of unique flavors too that I will come back to try (Thai Tea Brulé - I'm looking at you)!
