Ordered takeout today. Feet stuck to the floor all the way to the counter
Ordered burger well done, no bun and wrapped in lettuce. Got to work - no lettuce, hamburger red inside.
French dip was terrible. Cook should of never served it. Hard as a rock. Had to naw on it to get it down. Food came out slow, people were served before us. Kids grilled cheese was cold and hard as a rock.
Maybe the cook had a bad day but needs more pride in what he served.
Will say tater tots and fries were perfect.
If you want good food, skip this place and pick another option in the area. Fries were overcooked, both burgers (ordered medium) were char black and cooked until no moisture remained in them at all, oysters were OK. The remodel is also horrendous. The charm of the place as an old southern trackside grill has been lost in some weird attempt to make it look modern inside which in turn completely clashes with the historic photos and wall art.
