We went for lunch, and it was delicious! But we had to wait in line for over 20 minutes just to place our order. They only had one person working. We waited another hour to be given our food! Only when we and two other tables complained did any of us get to eat. So--if you want a very leisurely, but delicious, lunch, this is your place!

My favorite place to eat every time I visit my daughter in Virginia. This is always the first stop I make when I visit. My favorite dish is the French Country breakfast. The staff remembers me every time I come back. Almost like seeing family again. I highly recommend trying la Madeleine at least once and I guarantee you will be hooked just like me. 🥖☕️🥐☕️🍰

I came to la Madeline 3 times, and every time I come, the coffee machine is not working! We are coming to the coffee to get a cup of coffee that’s the purpose, the only options they got is americano or espresso.
On the other hand I love the fruits tarts they make, it’s irresistible; the croissant is good too not too buttery which I like.
Overall the place is good the only thing needs to be there is the coffee machine!!
