Stopped in for a tasting while doing the wine trail. This place felt less big corporate winery and more mom & pop, which was refreshing. Their wines are delicious. Tasting was only $8, and bottle prices were great, so we left with a couple!

November 2024

While vacationing in the area, we stopped at Burnley, which was the first of three planned winery visits. We did tastings of each wine. Wow wow wow. Delicious! We left with a case of wine. And needless to say, those other two stops were not necessary.

I visited this winery over 10 years ago and purchased the Spicy Rivanna. They call it "Christmas in a bottle". I couldn't agree more. I have spent the past 10 years trying to find something similar and there is just no comparison. I returned to VA this weekend and was thrilled to find out that they still make this wine. I purchased that and several others. Their chocolate raspberry wine is also out of this world. So many wineries in this area are now overpriced...
