While vacationing in the area, we stopped at Burnley, which was the first of three planned winery visits. We did tastings of each wine. Wow wow wow. Delicious! We left with a case of wine. And needless to say, those other two stops were not necessary.

I visited this winery over 10 years ago and purchased the Spicy Rivanna. They call it "Christmas in a bottle". I couldn't agree more. I have spent the past 10 years trying to find something similar and there is just no comparison. I returned to VA this weekend and was thrilled to find out that they still make this wine. I purchased that and several others. Their chocolate raspberry wine is also out of this world. So many wineries in this area are now overpriced and don't even do traditional tastings anymore. This winery let's you try all of their wines for $7.50 and they make wines you just can't find anywhere else. I've spent the past 10 years trying! Just do yourself a favor and come here first. You'll meet some great owners, save money, leave happy, and find some bottles of wine you simply can't get anywhere else!

What an incredible experience we had yesterday. This family truly knows what they are doing from making their customers feel like good friends to some really enjoyable wine( try the Barbera). Would definitely go back to learn more about their wine and visit!

Dawn was an amazing host and very friendly! We learned about the history of the Vinyard and its amazing! Great wines and the Barbera was one of our favorites. Tasting room was comfortable with a nice dog that needed petting haha... highly recommend this stop on your winery tour!

Family-owned and staffed winery off-the main track.. Alice, the resident winery dog, woofed hello & gave us a sniff before flopping down behind us. Alice, C.j, Wife, and Mom give the place a nice, honestly genuine family atmosphere that I appreciate.We had the pleasure of tasting with C.J. & it was a great conversation! C.J. is a really interesting guy with a ton of information. We really enjoyed our talk about wine & so much more.Their wines are good, with several competition winners. We took home a case.The access from parking is a challenge.

This family owned Vinyard was a hidden gem! The interior hasn't changed since they opened in 1976, but the wine was great! We had a wonderful interaction with the owner and winemaker and his mother during our tasting! We ended up with a case of wine that included a few bottles to do a vertical of a several varietals.
