I visited this winery over 10 years ago and purchased the Spicy Rivanna. They call it "Christmas in a bottle". I couldn't agree more. I have spent the past 10 years trying to find something similar and there is just no comparison. I returned to VA this weekend and was thrilled to find out that they still make this wine. What an incredible experience we had yesterday. This family truly knows what they are doing from making their customers feel like good friends to some really enjoyable wine( try the Barbera). Would definitely go back to learn more about their wine and visit!

While vacationing in the area, we stopped at Burnley, which was the first of three planned winery visits. We did tastings of each wine. Wow wow wow. Delicious! We left with a case of wine. And needless to say, those other two stops were not necessary.
