Really friendly winery with great wine! We arrived a bit before tasting time, but loved that the phone numbers to the owners were on the door so that we could still enjoy a tasting. We really enjoyed all the wines and they were distinct from the usual Virginia terroir. Wines were reasonable priced, and we definitely enjoyed the stop. We would definitely recommend if you're in the Barboursville/Charlottesville area!

Beautiful!!! Plus, awesome wine! If you want to relax from a long... week of work, this is the place to go ( I highly recommend).

We did our first look for our wedding at Reynard Florence Vineyard and it was absolutely perfect. They have gorgeous views of the rolling hills of Virginia at the top of their vineyard and our pictures turned out amazing (shoutout to Amber Mae Photography)! Dee and Roe were so kind and accommodating and we got to serve some of their wine at our wedding. The wine is so good and they have a beautiful space. Highly recommend!

Wine was mediocre. Tasting was $15+ for 4 wines. I could not believe the minuscule tasting pour...not even enough to taste ...maybe 1.5 tbsp at most. I can tell employee was well schooled on minimizing tasting pour by the way he looked at each plastic cup to make sure he didn't pour too much. In hindsight, I should have just told the young man to keep it and left. I'll never be back to Reynaud Florence which I first visited about 10 years ago if I remember correctly. There are too many better wineries around. Owners use to be there, but no sign of them this visit. Maybe wines might have tasted better if there had been a second swallow.

Our final stop on our self- guided winery tour today. We enjoyed award winning wines on the patio with our four-legged companion, Jake!!!He was tuckered out after a long, hot day in wine country!

Host "staff" (I cant remember Carolina's name.... she's memorable in PERSONALITY of one +++) & was SUPER friendly!I love the winery dogs are part of the experience. Ti-Rey (there has got to be a French background story) is adorable & training Brixie. We went on a gloomy cloudy grey weekday kind of early, & were alone tasting. Perfect for us, we get the cute dogs to ourselves.Within an hour of our arrival, regular "Vicky" (apparently more family than regular) arrived w 2 Uncles... HUGS all around. Then owners arrived, more hugs, their group adjourns to the rear Salon. The Reserve bottles opened up b/c of their visit. We were treated to extra tastings courtesy of the Owner's group & a got a glimpse into the family-forward wine community Reynard fosters. This isn't just a winery stop on the Monticello Trail tour. You have to follow the road less travelled a ways to get to this experience. The driveway is steep & parking minimal. The award-winning wines & family environment are well worth the excursion.Reynard is a bistro experience.... come stay awhile. Have a bottle by the fire or in the gazebo, visit with the dogs, you'll get treated like one of their own.Everyone is family we've yet to meet. Pull up a chair, grab a blanket by the fire, they'll pour, snuggle with a dog, meet new people & have the best laughs.Reynard is the combination of best traits; an off-the-beaten-trail family business getting it right putting experience first.

I came in by myself for a quick tasting and ended up staying because of the friendly and warm welcome from the staff and others visiting this winery (and the two pups!). Highly recommend and I will be back to visit again soon!

We must have had a bad day. Staff was very short, didn’t tell us about the wine, handed us a tasting sheet and told us to read it. 4 tasting in plastic cup. Not impressed. Wine was ok

Fantastic wine and absolutely wonderful people. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great wine without the pretentiousness.

We hiked nearby trails before heading over to this winery. I had been once years ago and remembered the wines to be very good. So glad we returned because our visit was wonderful. We tried most of their wines and all were delicious. Our favorites were the Chardonnay, Petit Verdot, Cab Franc, and Grenache. We feel like we made new friends there because they and another couple who were "regulars" were so welcoming. If you like exploring Virginia wineries, don't miss this one.

One of VERY FAVORITE petite wineries - The wine is fantastic, the owners are wonderful, the atmosphere relaxed. Not where you may expect to find a winery but very well worth the drive. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon in late December. It was pretty dreary out, but we decided to visit Reynard Florence still. We enjoyed our trip! The vineyard is small. Nothing like Kings Family Vineyard, but that's what we liked about it! We wanted something lowkey and quiet. Two cute corgis greeted us when we entered. The younger of the two just adored belly rubs. Ti-Rey, the older of the two came outside with us when we had our drinks, but kept is distance and then went in shortly after us.There were two ladies inside when we first got there and then another couple came a little bit after us and that was it! Jill explained the white and red flights that they had. They don't have any sweet wines, BUT Jill was kind enough to sweeten one of the white wines for me with a little currant jelly, which made it so delicious! The other wines were also good, but I just prefer sweet wines. There is a front patio, deck in the rear, and a pergola among the grape vines, which looks like would provide great views in the other three seasons. We chose the front patio and Jill promptly turned the propane firepit for us and showed us how we can turn it up or down. At first I didn't think we would need it since it was a fairly mild day (especially for December!) But when I walked around to look around and then came back, I was thankful for the heat. We ended up buying a bottle of white and red. We enjoyed our trip to Reynard Florence and likely will make another trip again!

Wevisit Reynard Florence every chance we get! We drive from Lake Monticello to buy the newest bottles of their petite manseng and Riesling. Wine flights are only $12. It's honestly my favorite winery in Barboursville, VA

Great views, helpful staff and a quiet afternoon. The crepes for Bastille Day were delicious and the Kir was a major highlight of our visit.
