“This is a wonderful restaurant. Not only is the staff attentive, knowledgeable and helpful, the food is delicious. Our son is very picky about chicken alfredo. In fact he refers to himself as a connoisseur. His quote was that this is the best chicken alfredo he has had at any restaurant yet. My husband and I both had the chicken parm which was amazing as well. Even our grandson loved the food! We will be back for sure!!!!”

The food was home cooking! I felt like I was at home!! I got the fried oyster dinner and my hubby got the hamburger steak with gravy! And we were told they have the best homemade pies so we took a chocolate meringue and a buttermilk pecan to go for a late night snack!! So, if your wondering where to go to eat for a great price and country flair please go to Nicks where they treat you like family!!”

The staff here were super friendly and the pizza was amazing! We had to buy a bottle of their hot honey to take home, heaven in a bottle. “We ran into this little slice of heaven while transporting kids to meet in Toano.. (they live 2hrs from one another) Love me some smoked food. The hush puppies!! Just the best hush puppies! “Took my husband here for his birthday. Beautiful view with the outdoor dining. Service was decent, the guy seemed to know how to juggle the tables to give good service. The food… well not so much. I had the special, asparagus was not cooked or prepared correctly. The cherry tomatoes and spinach great together with the linguine. The meat was leftovers from the night before (very well done when I asked for medium) ok with that. My husband’s meal was the pork chops with gravy and onions. The pork chops were disappointing and paper thin. Otherwise, the service decent, polite and got to the point with no small talk (which we like) and the views were beautiful!”

It’s been a few years since we have been but we will be back! The waitress is super sweet and very memorable. Three couples walked in while we were there and she knew them all personally! Great meal! “Great service and great food. Been three times and each time I’ve gotten Caesar salad that i shared with my husband. Best Caesar salad we’ve ever had. And also got the Huntsman Chicken as known as chicken parmesean the best anywhere. My husband had their salmon dish he said it was the best he ever had. Highly recommend”
