Great to have Pale Fire in Basye! Fun atmosphere with good food and good beer. We’ve had something different on each visit, lunch and dinner, dine in and carry out, and have always been pleased. Definitely worth a visit!
Sadly, the detroit pizza left much to be desired. An undercooked (they were busy) "airy" focaccia bread smothered in cheese for $30+...imagine eating a loaf of bread with cheese, with a few toppings, and you're about there. Flavor was ok, overall value significantly lacking.
Restaurant at base of hill has similar for the half price, and many other options to choose from..

We went in check it out. Not beer drinkers but there are wines and soft drinks. Hubby had Detroit style pizza. He rated it excellent. I had gluten free veg pizza. Also excellent,crispy crust, tasty vegs. White wine excellent. Lots of food choices. Very pleasant pub atmosphere. Great service. We'll be back.
