Driving here caught me off guard with the deep potholes in the gravel, so I highly recommend driving slowly. Plenty of parking is available, but it does fill up fast, so then you would need to park below the hill, which then becomes a hike up to the lake. I also noticed I didn’t have cell service (AT&T), but I came prepared with a book. The seatings provided did fill up super fast, so I think for next time we will be bringing our own seats. A fantastic little 2.5 mile east hike around the lake. The trail is fantastic and easy to follow and the scenery was amazing.
