A fantastic little 2.5 mile east hike around the lake. The trail is fantastic and easy to follow and the scenery was amazing.
Canoeing rental only during summer it seems but beautiful lake

Driving here caught me off guard with the deep potholes in the gravel, so I highly recommend driving slowly. Plenty of parking is available, but it does fill up fast, so then you would need to park below the hill, which then becomes a hike up to the lake. I also noticed I didn’t have cell service (AT&T), but I came prepared with a book. The seatings provided did fill up super fast, so I think for next time we will be bringing our own seats.
